Do you start Dunta Robinson?

Next to our FS issues, Dunta has been the biggest weakness in our secondary.

I'm all about Glover Quinn, I think it's surprising that he hasn't got much attention on this board (relatively speaking). The kid is tough, and is usually there to make the play & stop the other team from completing a pass.

But even when Reeves has played, I don't know if he gives us anything over Dunta. I don't know if it's the injury still slowing him down, or what....

Brice? Definitely looks like we've got something to work with, but I don't think he is ready to match up with this leagues best.

Seems like I'm forgetting somebody....

Still trying to figure out why they will trot out Kris Brown when wins are still important.

Uhhh.... The Dolphins don't exactly have gamebreakers at wide receiver... my biggest concerns today are Ricky Williams, the Wildcat, and Pat White in that order... their receivers vs. our corners is last on my list

Man you have a kicker obsession. Yes it is dangerous but who is around that you can definitively say is better?

I'd start Reeves and put Dunta in the slot and then blitz him like when he was a rookie. One of the better things Fangio ever did so of course they quit doing it.

Excellent point, but evidently management has been reluctant to use their 10 million dollar baby in a "diminutive" role.

It's more than a kicker obsession to me. It is a chance for the team to show a committnent to winning NOW. Sticking with Brown because "he's our kicker" is a cop out. It's another failure of team "self study". It harkens back to waiting for the off-season to make obvious decisions. While the Texans wait, teams that are moving pass them by.

They don't have to cut Brown. There are players they know won't be on the team next year. Cut one of them and carry two kickers.

I know coaches watch thousands of hours of film but I wonder how far back when they come to a new team. Did anyone on this staff actually watch film from 2004? Something we'll never know.

Well, they did Blitz Dunta once.

Anyone notice the increased role of Connor Barwin? He's been in quite a bit with Antonio Smith at tackle.

& that offsides was bull.

Does ANY team carry two kickers?

Does ANY team carry two kickers?

The Saints did for most of the season.

If the Texans don't consider it, they either believed:

a) Kris Brown is a kicker they can count on in the play-off chase.
b) Since Brown has a new contract and they don't want to cut him, they'll put the game in in his hands even though he is missing clutch kicks. Tha's more important than doing the utmost to win.

I like this one:

c) Carry two kickers for two games. Keep Brown if they must AND do what it takes to win.

Cowboys do; they have a guy that only does kick-offs and one that does field goals, even though Folk has sucked at field goals this year and they brought in Suisham, so they might have three at the moment...

Folk got the pink soap.... er, slip.
