I will take an ugly win

Ryan

THIS YEAR
And the dolphins and jets losing helps us in week 17 because the patriots will have it locked up. Now we just have to take care of business in miami next week.

True, but if that's all we bring to the table in our so-called playoff hunt we do not deserve to get there...

#8 & #80 saves the day, rest of the team go think really hard about your job...

You forgot about Chris Brown - his job is safe.

Good teams win crappy games like that?
The Texans struggles were largely self inflicted. If the players hadn't crapped their pants this would have been a blow out.

Shooting yourself in the foot with a fumble on the opponents 19, missed field goal, fumble on your own 39, and dropped TD pass is a lot to overcome.

Winning was just a matter of getting out of their own way, which they managed to do at the end.

Screw that. Belicek humiliated us a couple of years back. I would love to be the ones who took them out of the playoffs

Well, I'll take the win, of courrse. But to paraphrase JVG, we cannot ignore in victory what we would not ignore in defeat.

Boy. Does he suck balls or what? What an epic fail.
Suck balls he does indeed.

Kubiak needs to get it through his thick skull that he should find his best back and stick with him, fumbles or not. The offense needs playmakers, not plodders who put us in obvious passing situations on third down. If Slaton were healthy I'd advocate using him as much as possible, but he's not so the staff needs to give the ball to Moats and let him run. Sit Brown for good, please.

Give Foster more run too. I know he fumbled but hell all of them have and he showed pretty good potential. Light years ahead of Brown.

i can tell you one thing tho whoever called the WR screen on 3/10 on the rams 12 needs to lose their job

o and so does K & C Brown

All we need next yr is Slaton, Moats and Foster

That's why they are 7-7 praying for a playoff spot.
no, they are 7-7 and need help because of #18.

I think y'all forget how good the Colts are. The apparent "mediocrity" across the division is partially due to the dominance of the Indianapolis Peytons.

Six divisional wins, all against above average to good teams. Imagine how bad other divisions would look with the Colts at the top. The fact that no team is under .500 and the best team is the best in the NFL is a testament to the quality of the AFC South and not an indictment of the division as a whole. This is incontrovertible, imo.

im pretty sure it was Kubes, but you never kno. I really like our OC, but even if he did call that play Kubes should have overrode it. I wouldn't even call that play for that situation in madden

Yes.

But we've lost too many damn games like this to not recognize that today was an ugly, ugly win. But a WIN nevertheless.

The one thing you cant afford in the NFL is Turnovers - Brown , Moats and Slaton all have fumbles inside the opponents 10. Those three turnovers have played a large part in this team being 7-7 rather than in the drivers seat for a playoff spot.

If Im Kubiak I dont play guy's who put the ball on the ground .... There has to be some accountability.

I do agree tho that at this point Moats is their best option.

This morning on 610, Schaub stated that the Rams are much better than you think...........In the NFL, there is very little difference between a 1-12 and 6-6team.

I would have to question both parts of that statement as bordering fantasy thinking. A more realistic logic is that the Rams are as bad as we think and the Texans are not as good as we think.

the rams have made alot of good teams like the saints, jags & us earn their wins. likewise teams like the brown have made teams like SD sweat. it happens- once you come out on the right side of these trap games (and not like the steelers this yr or us v the raiders last yr) you (should) just be happy to win a game you should and move on to bigger fish (as in dolphins :)) to fry

Ah, Football!
Most boring game of the week. Heck, the Chiefs and Browns are 2 of the worst teams in the NFL and they put on an offensive show.

We had the 'Between the 20's with Schaub and AJ' show.

They were starting their 3rd string rookie QB, their 5th different OL lineup, a RB with a bad lower back, a squad that was hit with an outbreak of the swine flu, forcing the cancellation of Thursday's practice, a rookie head coach who just cut his starting guard, Richie Incognito and another starting guard, Jacob Bell, became the 11th Ram to go on injured reserve. And that casualty count doesn't include the No. 2 overall draft pick, offensive tackle Jason Smith, who can't shake the effects of a serious concussion and Defensive end Leonard Little who was scratched from Sunday's game with a knee injury.

Yeh they are a good team Schaub.
