Take out all my frustrations on my Ultimate Warrior pillow wrestler, with a Stone Cold Stunner.

literally shave my head to a richard justice style bald on top long on sides. I promise, and will give yall proof

This is the scenario everyone fears but I'm here to tell you, in situations like this there's no substitute for conditioning. We've spent years learning to deal with losses to teams we have no business losing to.

won't be easy, but I will soak my ball sac in ice cold water until any possible future productivity is possible.

seriously though, barring an injury to Schaub, AJ, or Ryans, we win this one, despite the pouty mouth predictions by the Soapers.

I thought I saw ESPN's ticker say Schaub was doubtful...

Say "meh, figures". I mean, losing this game is what the Texans have conditioned me to expect for the last 8 years.

Although this game is completely meaningless, so the Texans could win...

Better not lose to the rams! Can you imagine how this message board will be? More of FIRE this and that like fire that water boy because he didn't provide enough mineral water, fire cheerleaders because they didn't dress right etc.

Unwelcome mental picture.

Henceforth those who stand opposed to the "Soapers" will be called "Soakers".

Per the usual!

Hey, Mister Bartender
Please don't be so slow
I got time for one more round
And a six-pack to go

....get off the fence and fully realize that our current staff will not be able to lead our team to the biggun'. Playoffs, sure - they can possibly lead us there... eventually. But sniffin' the playoffs was supposed to be this year.

...wait for the soakers' next bizarro scenario for the Texans qualifying for the playoffs and pronouncement on how they improved while losing.

I will officially come off the fence.

I will stay away from the boards for at least 2 days.

There should be no way in hell that we lose this game. We should kick butt and take names later.

...Start a thread on who is "quitting the team" and start maneuvering for better seats next year.

Go Texans!

There is just no way the Texans lose this game. It will be another week by the soakers of calculations and scenarios where the Texans make the playoffs. I can't even fathom how the soakers don't ever get angry like when the Texans dropped 4 straight division games with the most embarrassing one on national tv on a monday night. They instead get all excited when we beat another losing team just like they will when we beat the Rams. These fans are just what McNair needs to keep mediocre football alive and well in Htown.

The bad thing about football in Texas is that we have the Cowboys. The Texans have had chance after chance to grow their fan base but instead have blundered every single opportunity. I've been a fan of Houston football since the sixties and it has had its moments here and there but we are known more for the supid things we have done. Buffalo, stagger lee, gagger lee etc.

This year most everyone was saying playoffs. Then came the Jets. We got really lucky the 2nd week with the Titans when Collins fumbled all by himself on the game winning drive. I believe the luck for the Texans ended for the year in that game. Now after the 4 losses in a row to division opponents the soakers still think we can go to the playoffs. What from our history would give these soakers any hope of the playoffs? All I see from the past is losses when it really matters.

The worst part about Kubiak's 4 years here is his record against division opponents. If you can't win against your own division then you are never going anywhere. The Texans have never had a winning record in their own division under Kubiak. They have actually gotten worse under him since his first year at 3-3. The last 3 years are 1-5, 2-4 and 1-5. Pathetic. It seems like our division rivals have figured us out after Kubiak's 1st season.

I'll leave the soakers with an excerpt from an article written by SI.com's Don Banks a few weeks ago.

McNair gave Dom Capers the boot as his head coach after four playoff-less seasons, and Kubiak now deserves the exact same treatment. Despite having some of the most gifted players in the league at several positions, the Texans lack heart, killer instinct and the know-how to win. If that's not a reflection on a head coach's leadership, what pray tell is?

I'm taking a chance starting their Defense in my FF team so they better win with authority. Plus no Boller or Jackson possible looks good too. I seriously doubt McNair wants to be the laughing stock with a loss to the Rams.

...I'll blame each person that said "there's NO WAY we lose to the Rams" for jinxing us.
:strangle:

Start dreaming about next year's coaching staff:

Who will it be?
Who will they draft?
What style of offense/defense will they bring in?

1. Stay away from this place for two days.
2. Think about whether or not I can really afford next year's tickets.
3. Remember it is a game, not world peace.

Wait for the dolphin game and watch it then wait for the patriots game and go to it then look at what seats I can buy from the idiots who sold out because of injuries.
