Kubiak is the dumbass here. Instead of playing a little conservative till Grossman was warmed up a bit, they have him throwing the ball down field cold right off the bat.

Are you sure that was the called play? We had like 10 yards to go on the play so we had to get it down field a bit. I think that was just a dumbass throw by Grossman.

Anyway, I don't see how anyone could have ever wanted Grossman to play. Please whoever it was calling for him, be a man and come forward.

Ryan Moats was wide open underneath, he probably would have only gotten about 7-8 yards but it would have been better than that int he threw, that was bad read by Grossman and too risky, that's all on the QB.

not so much as they wanted Grossman, but more that they hate Schaub through his being Kubiaks choice for qb.

I can point you in the direction of a few of them. I had a nice little debate with them last week.

I said this is exactly what would happen if Grossman replaced Schaub. Now it's happening.

won't do the work for you, but search "bench Schaub" in his first season, and also browse through some of the gameday threads.
 
I spent all last week trying to tell people how stupid they were for wanting to start Grossman over Schaub, because "Schaub can't win games for us" when all I had to do was wait until today when Grossman made all of those people look less intelligent than I ever could.

ROFL, come of the bench cold with the ball on your own 1 yard line, with no reps with the first team offense. Oh and yah they come out throwing the ball. Talk about stacking the odds against you.

*shrug* doesn't matter though this team reaks of weak disposition, but the one thing I did see today was actually Schaub chewing some ass on his OL coming out after the brain fart on the false start.

He came out of bench cold on the 19 yard line. Sucked it up, threw a pick, then came out on the 1 and sucked it up. Then proceeded to suck thoroughly for the remainder of his time in the game.

Absolutely not, he didn't play worth a crap but the only thing I can say is that the cards were stacked and the coaches surely didn't help.

Get him a screen, or something simple going? Hey maybe hand the )(*$@ ball off on the first play as you could easily tell he wasn't comfortable coming in to play.
 
The people who said Grossman over Schaub are the same ones who as kids would pack up a back-pack and tell their mom they're running away and they run home crying hours later when they realize how dumb they were.

I think Schaub is a great QB. He isn't going to be the best QB in the league, but he is a really solid player, and is much better than any other option available. This team can win with Schaub throwing the ball, we just need some better players around him.

Very little. People might hate him and think he sucks, but he's a tough guy. He may not look tough. He might look like a combo of Gomer Pyle and the goofy brother from Everybody Loves Raymond - but the guy is tough and you know he's uber-motivated to play every game this season.

on his second drive i thought he looked pretty good imo deff a little more zipp in his throws

Schaub is still our boy tho but Rex didnt hurt his case and got some reps

Really? Rex did what he did in Chicago....try and throw as hard as he can to guys and sometimes they skip, sometimes they sail and sometimes they look awesome. I didn't see a guy who was near Schaub.
