Seriously though, #9 for them is kind of high don't you think? I know they are red hot right now, but they are what they are according to their record of W's and L's.

Because records don't tell you alot about how a team is playing now. They are playing much better than any 0-6 team in the history of the game. & they darn sure don't look like a 5-6 team today.
7 weeks ago they did, but not today.
The record only tells you how good your team is at the end of the season.
5-6 in the AFC is "playoff contention" in math only..10-6 likely won't make it (and that's if they win out) it's over. It's impressive to be sure, but #9 impressive?...not too sure about that.

As much as it hurts me to say this, putting together 5 straight wins after going 0 - 6 to start the season is pretty impressive.

actually, if you look at the teams still in contention and their remaining schedules, 10-6 will almost assuredly get them in.

The Texans don't deserve to be rated in the top half of the league right now.
Besides, as always, we all love the ratings when they love the Texans but question their accuracy when they don't. When the Texans start showing it on the field, we'll get more national love. Earlier in the season when the Texans were playing like a football team, some ratings had us as high as 12th.
