Tailgating Maybe

Pollardized

Division Champ
Ok, here's the deal - I'm a huge Texan fan. I grew up in a beer joint on McCarty Drive during the Luv Ya Blue days as a huge Oiler fan. When Bob McNair pulled off the impossible nothing could compare to the feeling. I have been the biggest Texan fan from Day 1; been living in Central Texas and watch every game on TV. I am finally getting the family back to Houston with a good job offer. Be back 1st week of December. Relocation right before Christmas, there is no way I have the extra cash to buy a couple tickets for my 13 year old son (also a huge Texan fan) and myself to make a game. But I've been reading about all the tailgating and thought that maybe we could do a little even if we don't go to a game. Is that unheard of, to just go down and tailgate without going in the game? How would son and I find a party to stop in? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Randall (son) is driving me nuts about finding a way to be part of Texan gameday.

Thanks in advance!!!!

There are quite a few people that go to the games and just tailgate. There are several setups with TVs.

You're welcome to stop by the Blue Crew Tailgate (we don't have a TV setup, but there are many nearby). Just check out the thread in the tailgate section for more details.

Your welcome to come out anytime to the Yellow lot and enjoy the tailgating with a great group of people. Our group is called Texans Liberty Tailgaters (TLT) houstontlt.com. We generally have a few people who stay out while we go into the stadium and we have a full size school bus with a 52 inch big screen tv inside of it with the NFL package.

If you want some more info, just PM me and we can swap numbers and we can talk!!

Thanks guys! I will be living in Houston again in 2 weeks. I'll look at the schedule and figure out what game we can still make it to. Look forward to meeting everyone!!!

Hey Pollardized, I speak from personal experience when I say you can't go wrong hanging out with TLT. These guys are great and adopted me as a lonely tailgater years ago, they have a great set up and you would not be disappointed watching the game on the bus if you don't get to go inside. Great group of people.

GO TEXANS!!! :texflag:
