Where was the yellow flag on that play? Our QUARTERBACK takes a blow to his freakin head and we get no call.

Those officials officially sucked this game. Yes, I know it's not an excuse, just an observation/rant. Damn zebras!
 
Agreed, we're obviously biased but it sure seemed like they called everything they could on us, and discernably less than that on the Colts.
 
We've hit a strange point in our emergence in the NFL. The Texans are now good but haven't gained respect around the league. So, until we receive that respect, we won't get the kind of protection and benefit of the doubt from officials that teams like Indy, NE, Pittsburgh all enjoy.

That's okay, though, we're still winning 10 games and going to the playoffs... Freakin! Giants have me worried though... after blowing the Charger game today.
 
The worst flag of the game was the illegal contact on a receiver call on Eugene Wilson, that was ridiculous. There was no other way to defense that play.
 
That was definitely a blow the helmet on Schaub. There were two horse collar tackles that got missed too. 610 am pointed them out and I can't remember who they were on. I doubt the league will look at this as anything other than the Colts are a better team so they get all the calls. I counted several blatant holding call on the Colts O line that never got called, but I guess that's every play in the NFL.

Well I heard it takes one to know one so you would be the guy to go to...but then again anybody who putts 3 times on the green, is somebody who walks around "swinging a purse", so you might not be the guy to go to.

I mean, I have nothing against complaining against a team, (god know's I've done it) that's a welcomed response after a loss, but when you just pop in every single thread with "they're a bunch of losers" and then offer no constructive criticism....that's when you have just officially thrown in the towel and just don't care anymore. He quit......who cares.....I'm just tired of this quitter popping up in every thread.

I noticed those (or at least two uncalled horsecollar tackles) myself. I'm pretty sure one was on Jacoby Jones - it was a grab of his shoulder pads, not directly from the back, but more from the side/back. If I remember, the other was on a RB after he was well past the LOS. I know the horsecollar rule is kind of complicated, with several exceptions as to when it's OK, so maybe these fell into the exception category.

I agree with you on all points. Only thing I would say is there is no way to award one penalty with "the worst call of the game award." The officiating was terrible throughout. The Colts got babied yesterday.

Mexican Texan said it best yesterday: those refs needed to take Peyton's weiner out of their mouth.
 
whats the rule on that maybe the reff didnt see it

cant the Defender try to swipe at his arm/ball and maybe miss and slap his helmet i think that legal

The no-call on that interception sparked a burst of epithets from my lips at the time, but now that I'm a couple days removed from the play I watched it again and agree with the non-call. Brackett did not hit Schaub in the head at all, or even the neck. He hit Schaub's arm as it was going forward and whacked him across the chest with his right arm. Importantly, he let up enough at the end of the play to not draw a flag and the timing was such that it could not have possibly constituted a late hit. Brackett's sack was clean, folks.

However, I strongly agree with the perception of a double-standard because there is no doubt in my mind that if it's Manning or Brady taking that hit, the referees throw the flag nine times out of nine.
