Which matchup will decide the game this Sunday? I think if the Texans O-line can dominate the Bills D-line the Texans will win. The Bills cannot stop the run and if the Texans can't run it in this one then they never will be able to. Not being able to run it will allow the Bills' talented secondary to sit on Schaub's throws which will equal interceptions.

The Texans' DL should dominate the Bills OLine. If they can't do that, it spells problems for that game as well as the rest of the season. Buffalo has 2 unathletic tackles and two rookies playing in the interior. I'll be very surprised if we don't have at least 4 sacks on Sunday... If we build a lead, we should have 6.

It usually comes down to the big uglies and I think this week it's our OL vs. their DL. We need to be able to run it effectively, and if the wind is not bad we need to keep Schaub upright so he can go to work on that pass defense. Either way I expect a lot of dinking and dunking down the field, bubble screens, quick hitters, etc.

HT-couldn't agree more, it always comes down to the big uglies. I was gonna expand the poll to include our receivers vs. their secondary and vice versa but when it comes down to it, our receivers are gonna make plays if they get the ball in their hands and our DBs/LBs are going to cover if our D-line is in Fitzpatrick's face all day.

The inconsistencies of the Texans rest in the lines. When they're both playing well we're unstoppable. I think we can still win this game even if our D-line isn't perfect because Buffalo is NOT a good offense, and they will shoot themselves in the foot even if the other team isn't necessarily forcing them into mistakes. We should easily outscore this football team if our O-line wins the matchup vs. Buffalo's d-line.

I'm done watching their first five games.

Their C is also weak.
Ya' ought to see how the Browns dominated their interior line.
Shaun Rogers just ate them all up!

Their interior line makes Myers look like an All-Pro, LOL!

I think we should be able to get quite a bit of penetration.

As long as we can keep our outside gap integrity, we should be fine!

Their D-line is pretty decent, but far from the best we've seen.

Now it is three rookies with Jonathon Scott out and 5th round rookie Jamon Meredith starting at RT. That's a really young OL. The LT is only in his 2nd year. The "savvy vet" is the C who was drafted in 2005.

I just notice that!

I'm watching the Panthers/Bills game now.

Studdard/White/Caldwell would better be ready though; they like to attack the Guards with their DTs at times or they would send the blitz up the middle.

Starting DT Kyle Williams is out. 1st round bust John McCargo should be making his first NFL start in his 4th season.

The closer we get to this game, the more I feel a special teams play here or there will make the difference....

After careful deliberation, I came to the conclusion that the biggest matchup this weekend is between Kubiak and the Texans. Can he get his troops ready for a team they should beat handily? Can he pull off a big improvement and get 3 solid quarters or a minor miracle and get (gasp) 60 whole minutes of good, solid Texans football? I just can't find an area where the Bills can beat us without us helping them out. This game will be decided by how good of a job the coaching staff did in preperation for this game.

The only key matchups that remain are the weather and the refs vs. the Texans!

Beautiful weather today, low winds and temps in the 40s.

Nice!
Game time should be around 48-49
Currently no wind gust (that's great!)
Wind between 6-10mph; no problem there.

Come on Zebras, don't screw up the game for us like in that 35-3 game! :foottap::runaway:
