I'll take a win the NFL anyway I can get it.. Gotta concentrate on Buffalo now. We have a chance to go 5-3.

In the end I guess the win is all that matters- they just make it very interesting...

On the basis that is brought up on this board time and time again, there is no glory in picking positives from a loss. Then conversely there is no shame in winning a game 'badly'

4-3. Just saying that makes me forget every Slaton fumble, poor defensive call, and premature TD dance.

I'll take a win any day of the week. Nest win, the frigging Bills. W'll be 5-3 when we play the Colts.
 
I hate being a texans fan. Im probably going to get grey hairs quicker than normal. :( Even with the 21-0 lead I was still sweating them coming back! The texans need to keep their head in the game, they just let it go when they are winning.
 
They haven't been winners much. The "killer instinct" is something teams
gain when they DO it. This is a lesson learned game. Buffalo is another
pop quiz.
 
He fumbles the ball when there are about 3 or 4 guys on him or in a pile

and that usually comes from fighting for extra yards maybe he shouldnt do that when the game is close

also it means our o line is doing the intinal block but not doing the 2nd and 3rd blocks
 
a win is a win. the team came out from the get go and showed intensity. i would much rather play great at the beginning of the game and then spend the rest holding them off than the norm...which is falling behind by 3 possessions before we even wake up for gametime.

solid win by a solid team. we have a good shot at 5-3 if we take care of business in Buffalo. if Buffalo moves the ball on us, some people need to be called to the mat. Buffalo is horrendous.
 
Happy with the win, Been at Wembley and when the score come at half 21-0 commentators were tipping us for a wildcard/ playoffs then to here it was 24-21 was slighlty concenred as to why things didnt go to well in the 2nd half.

There was an intresting comment in todays programme aswell, discussing what lies ahead for us this year and says again middle of the road until we reach our potential which will MOST likley be without Gary Kubiak.
 
Glad for the win...Hope it continues. Ugly or not, we are one game over .500. I hope we get further above that.:splits:
 
That 2 minute offense before the half was a joke. 3 timeouts left and 1:30 left on the clock with decent field position, and its like we didn't even want to get any more points.

I'm happy with the win, but wtf was that?

No joke is thinking any team in the NFL is going to get aggressive up 21 points going into half time.
 
The Texans made me proud!
I predicted a 21-20 win, but they won by 3 times the margin!
They were 3 times better than I thought they would be! :):fans:

When you have good field position like that you should be trying for a FG at least, I mean heck we only had 30ish yards to pick up to get into range. Schaub even said they wanted to add 3 more before the half.

Besides, as we saw in the 2nd half it doesn't take long for us to give up a 21 point lead.

Tomorrow we will still be 4-3, and the books will still say we BEAT the Niners! That's all that matters! Come Sat I'll be on my way to Buffalo to watch our boys make it 5-3, and probably add one more ulcer to my already screwed up stomach!! lol

Why OH WHY do I do this to myself!! I'll really not into self torture, but, DAMN, every Sunday I run, throw, catch, kick, tackle, and pound someone into the dirt with every play our Texans make. I go home feeling worst than any of our boys! Takes me 24 hrs to recover from a Texan ballgame!:ouch::)
 
Sorry, if I'm Kubiak, I'm making the Secondary show up bright and early and will have them in full pads running stairs until someone pukes. A guy scoring ONE touchdown on you...happens. The SAME guy scoring on you AGAIN running effectively the same route is you having your head up your butt and blowing your assignment. The same guy getting a THIRD TD is you acknowledging:

a. You should be in Encino, California selling used cars.

b. The NFL is NOT the place for you.

c. Some hungry semi-literate college corner (who will play for next to NOTHING just for the opportunity) just has to make a few more NCAA highlight reels so he can have YOUR job this time NEXT year.

d. That players in the NFL play for either "fortune" or "glory" and you would rather have a Rolex and an Armani suit than a Superbowl ring and a Hall of Fame Blazer.

The Texans Defense has improved GREATLY, but they still have some kinks they need to work the Vugg out or they need to make some personnel changes.
