Texans 3/10 Top Matchups for Wk 7 (Per NFL)

How many times is AP going to James Harrison really? That's gonna be Timmons's and Farrior's turf. And Casey Hampton.

Clements is VERY overrated. AJ is gonna kill him.

He's allowed 19 receptions for 304 yards(60.8/game) and been torched for 4 TDs. Just dreadful defense.

13 for 158 (39.5/game) and 3 TDs if we're nice and leave out the ATL nightmare. Still bellow average.

Agreed. Hopefully Shawnte Spencer covers AJ most the game. He is playing lights out and excels vs big, physical receivers.

If Mark Roman starts at SS, look for Johnson to have a monster game. Roman is GARBAGE.

He always played us very well when he was in Buffalo.

They had alot of talent to mask his short comings.

Get what your saying, but AJ isn't your typical big reciever. He also is scary fast.

I have no doubt about that. But I think our RCB and FS can contain AJ. Put him up on Clements and Roman, though, and you got yoruself 200+ yards and a few TDs.

Once that happens, then our other weapons get nice match ups. Its hard to spend SO much energy on AJ, because we have a few people who can hurt you.

I'll take my chances with Wills/Slaton and your #2 WR/Clements. Just don't put AJ on Clements, please. lol

Hopefully the 49ers pass rush will show up again. I hope Willis is sent on multiple blitz' and hits Schaub in the mouth (no injuries for either team please). Without the 49ers pass rush showing up it will be a long day for the back 7 anyway.

Question: Does Mario get moved around on the D-line or does he pretty much stay as RDE?

Don't forget Owen Daniels. He had 2 TDs against the Bengals and I believe he's in the top five for TD receptions this season.

As for Mario he does get moved around quite a bit. In obvious passing situations you'll usually see Barwin and Mario at the DE spots with Smith and Okoye at the DT spots. You should also expect to see some blitzes, and it seems to me they've been sending Cushing more often than in previous games. He has some excellent speed given his considerable size so for Hill's sake you'd better hope he doesn't hold on to the ball too long.

Yep, not looking forward to the match-up of TKO vs Daniels.

Thanks, I forgot that one.

Staley is our best o-lineman and plays on the left. Our right side is wide open. We have two traffic cones starting over there. Well, sometimes we substitute Flozell Adams (Dallas Cowboys) so we can get a holding call (or 10) called against us at the best of times.

Byron, you have battered fan syndrome. We all need to go to a clinic together

I was excited about the 49ers until the Falcon's game. Good teams don't get crushed 45-10 at home.

The 49ers GAVE a game to the Vikings which is something bad teams can not do if they hope to win a division.

Now we are tied (with tiebreaker to us) with the Cards for the division lead. AZ will lose this weekend, but SF has a good chance at losing as well. If we lose to Houston there is pretty much no shot to win the division. We have Indy next weekend and the Cards have Carolina. After that our schedule is more difficult than theirs and the 49ers have shown they can't beat good teams.

49ers fans weren't use to losing until 2003. Since then we haven't seen much to cheer for. Every year we expect to make that leap back into the playoffs and every year we are let down. We have the talent (minus our starting QB) to play with most teams.

I really think we can beat the Texans. The problem is, we won't.
