More Texans get the swine flu

Uh-oh, it looks like its hitting our team pretty hard right now.

Safety Eugene Wilson sat out with an illness and running back Chris Brown was available but not feeling well and didn't play. Linebacker Xavier Adibi was also ill but played on special teams.

"Eugene got very sick last night, it continued through this morning, so there was no way he could play," coach Gary Kubiak said. "We're monitoring the situation. It's something that's hit us in the past four days and we just have to work through it."

Offense lineman Eric Winston said Wilson was so sick he "could barely walk."

When asked if the illnesses were more cases of swine flu, Kubiak said: "I don't want to speculate on any of that ... but it was kind of scary this morning, to be honest with you."

So does this mean those plagued by swine flu will have to do their school work at home? Which Texans player is gonna swing by and drop off their assignments and textbooks? The whole class should make them get well soon cards and send it home with their books and homework!

Kidding aside seriously, no one else needs to get sick. Keep these guys off the facility grounds.
 
everyone has already been exposed at this point most likely, so its just a waiting game to see who gets it and how severely.

I say we send Anthony Hill over for a "scrimmage" against the Cards this week. Make sure he sneezes on Warner and Fitz.

While we're at it, lets send a few coughs Peytons way as well

They should be confined to a plastic bubble, or forced to wear hasmat suits until the flu season has completely finished.
