From GuerillaBlack's request, since i started the gameday thread for the Titans game, our only win. Hopefully my streak can continue. Go texans. :fans:
 
Good job...being an ex-football player i am all about routine and doing everything the same...for instance week 1 my girlfriend wore a cushing jersey, we lost, week 2 she wore a regular t shirt, we won, week 3 she more the cushing jersey again, we lost, i told her there is no way in hell she is wearing that jersey this weekend lol

maybe we might actually start blowing out teams then...i think you should request that she do that- for the sake of the texans of course;)

anyway we must win this game if we want to do anything this season & from a defence standpoint not only is it a must win but, as a great football mind once said (lombardi i think:)) 'ITS A MUST PLAY WELL GAME'

Schaub's got to use everyone.
Slaton needs to step up.

Defense needs to stop giving up big plays and stop the Raiders on 3rd downs.

I just hope the Raiders from last week shows up.
 
I tried giving the wife some guilt last week, I told her we lost because she did not wear her #80 jersey during the game. :)

Also I wore my #69 last week...

She'll be wearing the #80 and I'll be nekkid! :)
 
Just got back from Dallas. I'm Going to bed. Getting up in 3 hours to head to Houston. God I love this team.

I noticed that Duane Brown was listed as "ill" at practice on Friday. I'm fairly sure he'll play but I plan to keep a close watch on him to see if he's playing as well as he has the first 3 weeks.

Hope you're right. But the bookies have dropped the Texans 9.5 point favor to 9.0 yesterday to 8.5 today. Doesn't seem like much of a drop, but what are they seeing?????

Some of y'all will never learn. There's no such thing as an "easy win" in this parity-infected NFL. And there's no such thing as a "lock" if the SchizoTexans are involved.

Ok, I'm getting ready to roll. Just talked to Dredhead and we are a go for some NFL action. We gotta beat the Raiders today....I just hate walking out of the stadium on a downer.

It's a shitty feeling, one I'm too familiar with lately myself man. I hear ya.
 
It seems that every time I plan on cooking up a nice meal for the game, we lose. So today, no cooking. I'm getting either a pizza or some Chinese take out for the game. If we win today, no more cooking on Sundays. LOL

Quinn has made the fewest mistakes, and is a more sure tackler, than any
of our corners have been at this point. We need smart, aggressive
football players out there. The overrunning gaps has got to quit. Outside
of the bonehead plays, this defense has been MORE than solid. They fix
that, we're singing a different tune.

It's good to see on the weekly magazine shows that Demeco is becoming
that vocal leader this defense needs. He's preaching to them, the same
things we've been preaching on these boards. They quit making boneheaded
mistakes, this defense becomes good in a hurry. The question is: How many
games will it take to cut out the boneheaded mistakes?
 
As I cautioned for the "enthusiasm" toward Reeve's return, his compound fracture will keep him out this week. It would still not be surprise me it he misses at least one more week.
 
Schilens, Walker still can't go for Raiders


It will be another week for JaMarcus Russell without wide receivers Chaz Schilens and Javon Walker.

Both men are down today for the Raiders in Houston. That means that rookies Louis Murphy and Darrius Heyward-Bey get the starts.

For the Texans, safety Eugene Wilson, who did not appear on this week's injury report, is inactive today.

I'm still cooking, although I have decided to go back to a vinegar based sauce on the chicken and sausage, which I tried for the Tacks game.
 
Swine flu epidemic on the Texans! maybe... this is not good. We could end up struggling to field a full team in the next few weeks. At least it will give Kubiak another excuse for a disappointing season.
 
Almost time !!! hopfully the equipment manager didn't get the wrong memo and give the Texans pink shoes/gloves and esp jocks/underwear today!
