I think we will be alright, we usually play the best football towards the end of the season. Last season we started 0-4 if we beat oakland we will be 2-2 so if we play our best football by the time we play afc south teams i think we will be alright

3 games that most of us, myself included, may have thought were gimmes (@ Cincy, VS San Fran, and @ Buff) all of a sudden look like extremely tough games to win. We'll be lucky to split the 4 game stretch of @AZ, @CIN, SF, and @BUFF. Unless of course we are like the NY Giants when they won the SB and won every road game they played including the playoffs yet weren't so good at home that season.

Yep, plus it's the football season in general. I might complain about this team, but I don't let it bother me to the extent of ruining the football season. High School, College and the rest of the NFL easily makes up for a crappy home team. Heck, I even watch my nephew play in Little League football almost every Saturday.

Yeah, I'm so numb to the Texans blunders year after year any way. There are other teams that I root for besides the home team as well. Not as much, but I still have teams and players to watch and root for where I get great anticipation. Plus, Fantasy Football is always a joy and a bummer every week win or lose. There is still college football which isn't the pros, but it's still pretty good to watch. The closer and closer we got to the season my confidence in the Texans dropped a lot any way after watching them in pre season, so none of what we're seeing is that big of a surprise to me. I'll enjoy the football season regardless of what the Texans do. It will just become that much greater whenever they do put out a winning playoff team in whatever year that might happen which at this point might not be until 2022. Lol!

Last year we went 0-4 and the world was ending. They crawled back to 3-4 only to fall to 3-7. Then crawled back to 7-7 to finally finish 8-8.
So a .500 season is still within our grasp, Texans fans! Don't give up hope just yet!

The season is already over if you ask me from a playoff's perspective. I've no confidence in a team that couldn't hold two of the worst defenses under 30 points where they look worse than last year's defense. Kubes isn't the kind of coach that can will his team to the playoffs with a defense like this and a start like they've had. This year was playoffs or bust, and this team isn't going to the playoffs. They'll be a run of the mill average team in the NFL once again.

You gotta be kiidin me? You must not keep up with these teams, Cincy just beat Pitt, San Fran lost to Minn by an incredible catch, Buffalo has vastly improved. All four are losses...and I freakin luv our guys, we put up 30 on every team but if the other team puts up 31 we lose. Our DEF is the absolute worst in the league.

After three games the Texans offense is 11th in the league in scoring, that's an improvement from last year. Our defense is 27th in the league in giving up points, which is exactly where we were at the end of 2008.
Which means Lil' Shanny is doing his job, but Frank Bush isn't.

The season isnt over, as always we have proven we can put points on the board and yes as always our defence is the issue. Yes its frustrating when they should be beating teams and performing better but at least we are not the whipping boys of our division or a team the opposition expects a win against.
Players like AJ, SS and Matt from what he has shown this year, shows we have what it takes, im going to dread saying this but maybe we need a little patience (insert whistle). I for one think the season is up to play for if we have learned anything from the texans its you never know whats going to happen on game day.

All five of those games are winnable, but Frisco creates the toughest because of the strength of their run game. As far as Cincy beating the Steelers, "any given Sunday". They're not as good as their record. I could see us going 4-1 over that stretch, but I could also see us going 1-4 if the defense doesn't turn it around FAST. A shootout in Arizona could be fun.

Agreed there. Neither is Cincy such a dominate team that everyone should be marking them down as a sure fire loss. And I happened to have a pair of die hard Steeler fans with me at the game last week and they are not impressed at all with the way the Steelers are playing.

this may be your weakest post yet Mr Kubiak. The 93 Oilers were LOADED and were 11-5, 10-6, 12-4 in this 3 year stretch and went to the playoffs 7 years straight (6 years in a row before this season). Nothing about the Texans resemble that squad.
