Death to Google Ads! Texans Talk Tip Jar! 🍺😎👍
Thanks for your support!

OK, here's what's REALLY the best thing about our win in Tenn...

GP

Go Texans!
You know that there will be NFL SundayTicket promotional commercials next year with Andre Johnson making all those catches, especially the bobbled end zone grab.

We've seen the commercial where Reggie Wayne makes the one-handed end zone against us.

And now it's the Titans' turn to get posterized by AJ.

That catch, IMO, will be played and played for so many different things.

We just posterized the Titans. Not even Chris Johnson's effort will be remembered as much as AJ's incredible catch.

Why?

Because we won. And they didn't.

LOL!!!!!!!!1

Come on GP, you know better than that. LOL, our luck they'll have Tim McGraw doing the commercial saying "Did you see Chris Johnson put up 284 all purpose yards against the Texans......well you could have, if you had NFL's Sunday ticket with Direct TV!.....well atleast you didn't see the Titans lose"

BTW, speaking on this topic, does anybody else notice how when NFL Network or ESPN is talking about some random football team, a highlight against the Texans almost ALWAYS pops up. It's getting to the point where they have to be searching for his crap.....it could be some random NFC team and they have a highlight against the Texans.

Mods, please handle this for me.

The best thing about beating the tacks is ALWAYS the fact that beating them makes them shut their pie holes so we don't have to look at their tooth!

Best thing about Sunday's win is that it might be a start on addressing our two biggest shortcomings up to this point. Division record, and road record.

(It also doesnt' hurt that it puts the Titans at 0-1 in the division)

LOL - yes. Like some NFC team we haven't played in 5 years and BAM - Texans getting burned on ESPN or NFLN.

Counting preseason, we're 0-3 at home and 3-0 on the road.

Significant.

I have a friend who is a die-hard Bulls fan...and we discuss this very thing all the time.

Any time ESPN shows an NBA player dunking, they ALWAYS show them dunking against the Bulls.

The same goes for the Texans and highlights.

Let's just label this a conspiracy and call it the (Load of) Bull Phenomenon (since apparently ESPN has SOMETHING against teams with Bulls as logos).

Rep for that! I always frickin notice that and never say anything b/c I didn't know if it was just me and didn't want to come off as some conspiracy guy.

That is a constant, whenever any team (it seems like) is being talked about, in the backround, the footage of that team almost always includes footage of them burning the Texans.

I have to say though, as much as I love the Texans, we sure have all too often been the cure for ailing teams and I think we can all admit that. Hell, we basically put Sanchez in the H.O.F. already if you were to believe the jock swing media Sanchez leg humpers. (Sorry, that week 1 loss still irks me....so tired of all the Sanchez swinging pre and post week 1 game!!)

There will be no agreeing with your post until you fix that sig.
:texflag:

This sig doesn't get removed until we beat BOTH the Jags and the Raiders.

I didn't figure you for a turncoat, Obsi. Frankly, I'm a bit saddened by it.

I'm imposing a 5-minute time-of-mourning for this loss of unity.

yo, I'm no turncoat!
I'm not the one with the sig disparaging our boys.
or telling Mods what to do
:D

And out of curiosity, why the Raiders?
Why not the Colts?

...which I think we can do this year, by the way.

Probably, because of the letdown we had against the Raiders last year after we beat the Titans.... Historically the Texans lay a egg against opponents they should beat after a big win. Last Sunday's big win will be wasted if we can't carry that momentum past the Jags and the Raiders at home.

Oh. That makes sense; I thought it was about beating divisional opponents.
