Cougars vs. Red Raiders

Yeah, I'm busting my ass on homework this week so that I'll be finished in time for the game. Normally, I procrastinate.
 
Anyone got a lead on 3 tickets to the game? I'm coming in from Fort Worth to see the Texans woop up on Jax in my battle red and would love to be able to root on the Coogs this weekend as well.
 
I thought Tech looked pretty damn good against UT. This game is going to be tough.

This is going to be a barn-burner.

Go Coogs!!! We will need a great performance.
 
If UH and Tech played in basketball, the score would be very similar to what the football game is going to be Saturday night.

Man, that game had one of the best dunking shows I've seen, if not the best eva! :specnatz:
 
the rankings mean quite a lot, actually. it's where most of the hype and excitement on and off the field is generated, from the fans to the players. whether they make sense or not is the issue...
 
If I had a ride home, I'd definitely go to the game. I haven't gone to UH for a year, but I still have passes that let me sit right behind the opposing team's bench. It's so close to the field, I gave Case Keenum a high 5 once.
 
I just found out we're not going, bummer. My dad's brother said he has two tix but they didn't come through. My dad wanted me to take him, but he literally isn't near healthy enough for SRO tickets which at last count was all that was left. Actually I'm glad he's not going anyway, but I wasn't going to deny him possibly his last chance to see UH in a "big" game when the place will be rockin. He was so pissed until I told him the game is on ESPN2 this weekend, he's cool as hell with that...lol. So, it's me and my dad at his house this Saturday night and I don't have the worry of his health. :turtle:

Normally I don't put any stock into rankings, but it's good for the UH program.
We can use all the recognitions in front of a national TV audience.
I want a BIG WIN very badly to really put us back on the map.
It would bode well for recruiting, not only in football, but for other programs as well.

I will also be pulling for S.Miss to beat the Jayhawks. :cow:
 
I am starting to get nervous. On two fronts actually. The game, and my own survival. We are arriving at 8 am to get a good spot in the yellow lot. So what, thats 12 hours of tailgating??? Not to mention a high scoring game that could see past midnight??? Then Texans on Sunday?

Monday is gonna be rough. But 2-0 this weekend will make it all good!

Wow UH's secondary sucks! I havent seen that poor of tackling in the secondary since we played last Sunday!

He looks like he has questionable decision making but Houston has him throw so many passes.

Coogs left too many points on the board; game should've been an American History X-style curb stomp if they were able to convert those field goals into TDs.
