What Texan had the most impact on games

I was just wondering which Texan all you thought had the most games where their impact was felt the most.

Take for instance I feel Andre Johnson has had the most games where his play had the most impact because in almost all our wins, like in Buffalo, against Atlanta, at KC, against Oak...etc he made huge catches that helped get us in scoring position.

I believe that this pretty much has to go to either an offensive skill position player or a defender. You can rule out anyone on the offensive line because rarely do you see a lineman good enough to impact multiple games in a season in a positive way. Our linemen aren't great but none of them are bad enough to negatively impact multiple games

So removing the O-line I'd say Domanick Davis impacted the most games last year. Sometimes it was in a negative way (San Diego, Detroit) and sometimes it was in a positive way (various games over the second half of the year) but as Domanick Davis went, so went the Texans.

That is a very good analysis. I think a good game to consider for Davis would be the game at Jville.

When Davis is 100% and not playing through inury and Palmer isn't calling the same plays 5 times a game then I'd say Davis has the most impact.

Once Carr gets some time to throw and the defense isn't focused on Andre then Andre will start to impact the most games.

I think the best way to look at it is if one of those guys got hurt for a whole year who would we miss the most.

Since we've got Morency, I think he'd do a decent job of filling in for Davis...So I think next year that Johnson will have the biggest impact. Cuz if we lost Andre Johnson next year our offense would slow quite a bit.

Also if we lost Dunta for a season, that would kill us too.....so maybe he should get consideration ?
