Antonio smith throat slash

Did anyone see Antonio Smith give the crowd or a fan the throat slash? Seems like there was more about it on the Official page but it seems to have been removed overnight.

I did not see Antonio "Weaver" Smith do that! I wonder why. Maybe someone asked him what happened to The Texans in the game and that was his response?

I like this one. Turk mixin it up w/the fans. LOL

Houston Texans punter Matt Turk (1) yells at a fan in the stands as the fans started booing during the third quarter.

Whats great about that pic is the look on the sound guy's face right next to Turk. I think he wants to laugh pretty bad.

Matt Turk can go eff himself. You play like dogs, you get booed like dogs. WAAHH WAAHH STOP BOOING WAAHH!!

Agreed. When a guy gets into it with the fans during a boo fest what he is really saying is "Hey its not MY fault, back off my teammates (its their fault)." Just take it in stride and try not to suck as bad next week, please.

The Turk picture is off the main site too now, or at least I cant find it. I just about died laughing when I saw the fans flipping Jones the bird. What was that douche thinking would happen as he slowly walked towards the fans trying to rub it in when they were already up by plenty.

Maybe it's just me, but I think that's a little cheesy. Unless Jones was actually taunting the fans, of course.

It would've been funnier if Jones yanked that dude from the stands and commenced to whooping that ass.

LMAO! Okay, maybe not

He was just ending his TD run...classy stuff from the fans.

I agree. Flipping the bird to a player while hanging out the stands kind of just pours salt on the wound of a loss and probably let Jones know he did his job.

Awww come on folks, at least that specific fan showed some emotions.

I have no problem with that fan action...

Hey I actually had a guy stand up, turn around and tell me to stop booing. I said "hell no I came to see some real football" and he said, "well you came to the wrong place, go home if you don't like it"

...and then he went home at halftime. Wonderfan only likes good things...good football and good vibes. Neither were present yesterday.

It was a really, really bad day to be a Texans fan. The guy flipping off the Jets player is just another thin layer of embarrassment piled on top of the 10' deep turd the Texans laid. He doesn't help but it's not like it can get any worse.

My anger remains focused on the entire team (ours) and primarily at the biggest fly on the cow pattie. Bob McNair owns this "thing". He's the one who gets my wrath.

If I were Mayor White I'd have sent him some sort of letter or proclamation asking the Texans to please stop using the name of our city if they intend to continue playing like this. All they have accomplished in the last 7 years is to cement the idea in the nations fans that Houston is the home of record-setting choke jobs and lousy football. Thanks for finishing what Bud Adams started Bob. We're sure lucky to have a guy like you in our corner bringing the bottom rung of the NFL back to Houston.

I don't know...it's not the Jets' fault that we fielded a faulty product. The team looked like they haven't had a lick of practice together.

How did Gary Kubiak get into the end zone stands like that?

Props to Kubiak for choosing to wear AJ's jersey, though.

Now if he could just remember to get him the ball....

I thought the coolest part of the whole incident with T. Jones, was the big usher saying "son uva b!tch" when the TD was scored. The ushers were even more passionate than the team yesterday.

I did notice Antonio Smith doing the throat slash motion to the stands as he walked back to the Texans tunnel. He was one of the last players off the field. I wasn't close enough to hear if he said anything, but I didn't get the impression that he was directing the slash toward the fans. I'm not sure exactly what he meant by that gesture, but given the team's performance in the second half perhaps he meant to say that they, the Texans, were going to continue to show no signs of life.

Was Antonio Smith even in the game because I didn't see him on the field!? :foottap:

Cushing and Smith toppled over each other, both were unevaded to the QB, I think it was Cushing running into Smith, either way both were in the backfield. the D-line and LBs had a good game I thought.

What's the difference in Antonio Smith and Anthony Weaver?

Weaver has an excellent backpeddal.

I sit in the section next to him, 1 row higher and like 8 seats (plus stairs) away from the guy. I think I remember Jones starting it, but I don't remember for sure. All I remember is me laughing, and wondering if they catch that on camera. XD Gotta find something funny in that awful game yesterday, I suppose.

Awesome. Wish the team was as fired up as the fans.

Jones should have grabbed that punk and Ron Artest him! Those players are out there for our enjoyment and not to be harrassed by drunken punks. I just wish he would have flipped over onto the field and see how much fun he would have had falling at the feet of a powerful athlete that he just shot the finger to. lol. Now that would have been funny.

After it was obvious that the Texans were flat and just didn't have it...I just started watching football and high fiving any good play by either team..lol. I had to cheer for Jones though since he is from my home.

I think that if you were as pissed as most of us were yesterday and a jets player ran up to you and "shushed" you, you would do the same thing.
I know I would.

Nah, i wouldn't have done the same thing because we seem to forget its just a game. I probably would have laughed about it because they just whooped us...again...we can't beat those NYC teams for some reason.

I'm not the type of guy to boo, but I am also not going to condemn it. The Texans deserve whatever they get at this point - except the money. They don't deserve that.

 I was at the game and probably would've done the same thing is the Jets player would've "shhhed" me. What you saw yesterday wasn't "drunken punks"........it was PISSED OFF FANS with 8 years of frustration

Anybody who walks up 5 feet from the stands and taunts the crowd deserves to have them go double barrel on his ass. If he did that in most cities it wouldn't have been people throwing the bone at him, it would have been beer, and food.

I sorta feel the same way...I just got back from 8 months away, 195 days in Iraq for this!

It seems every HOU team does just enough to give us some hope, but then fails in the end. McNair needs to hold the coaches and players accountable this year. Dunta should be fined for conduct deterimental to the team. Any player jawing w/ the fans needs to remember who ultimately pays the bills.

Kubiak and coaches should review the film and make adjustments. Whoever isn't cutting it as a starter should take a seat and give someone else a shot (Meyers).

If we had given 110% and looked competent, I'd be disappointed, but not disheartened. This was a terrible way to start the season. I hope we have a different attitude against TEN or it will be ugly again.

I could see this from Sect 109, and I'm glad I was far enough away so I didn't have to explain it to my 6 & 8 year olds. This pic doesn't show it, but once this guy started in on Jones, it looked like there were several others around the guy that started "saluting" as well. The cops, ushers, or security people standing near this spot never said a word to the fans there. I was sick after this loss, but we were not the only team to lose yesterday....

Shooting the "bird" and cursing can cost you your PSLs, or at least a threat of losing them. If you don't believe me, ask the guy that sits in front of me. He got a call from the Texans on Tues after the Vikes game. It's inappropriate and will not be tolerated. That came with a warning that he would be watched. WHATEVER! If they threw every fan out that said a curse word, or shot someone the finger, the stands would be empty.

what do u except in the 4th quarter i think after the fans have got a buzz from there 10 dollar beers LOL i would be mad 2

ANywayz Turk had that wicked 4th qtr Punt that put the jets backed up in our endzone (didnt help tho :pop:) but it was still a good kick so ill give my a Hate pass for this wk

Turk should have been like F this and Fake punt it to a :jogger: first down like he always DOes LOL

EXACTLY.

This is nothing compared to what most PASSIONATE fans would do, you can say it is not "classy" but I will take a passionate fan base over a fan base who is worried about being "classy" at a football game(within reason of course).

No lines were crossed in this situation, the fan did not touch him or throw anything.
