Gameday baby. I'll be there cheering the Noles on. Should be a fun game to watch.

Players to watch for FSU:

Sophomore RB Jermaine Thomas
Sophomore receivers Bert Reed and Jarmon Forston

Junior DE Markus White
Senior LB Dekoda Watson
Sophomore LB Nigel Bradham
Senior CB Patrick Robinson
Senior FS Jamie Robinson
Freshman CB Greg Reid

Game starts tonight at 8 eastern in Tallahassee.

For Miami, I think their best player is Sophomore LB Sean Spence.

It's on at 7 here...and I have soccer practice at 5. I hope I make it, I haven't been able to catch any games this weekend.

Just got home from the game. That was the most emotionally draining football game I have ever been to. Probably the best game I have ever been to as well. Forston needs to come up with those balls if we are going to be a good team. He is only a sophomore but you have to catch those. One off the helmet the other off the chest.

Greg Reid is the real deal. If he isn't starting next week there is a problem. He is better than Ijinije. Nick Moody is also better than Korey Mangum.

Tough game. I was pulling for FSU. The last play you could see by the way Ponder threw the ball he had a man he felt he could get the ball to. Well, the bright side is if you have to lose, now is the time, just sucks it was to Miami.

Ya on that drive that we kicked a field goal before Miami took the lead again, Ponder had a man wide open for a TD he just didn't see him. Ponder played a great game though. He is night and day better than last year.

I've lost my voice, my head hurts, and I am heart broken. I've never been to a game like that before.

Did it sound as loud as it was on TV?

Sure, it came right through the toob. The game and the crowd seemed to be in late-season form. I've been to a few of those, you never forget.

I was :mcnugget: at all that speed on the field. Absolutely eye poppin. I cant recall ever seeing a game with that much speed on the field at 1 time for both teams, pro or college. Cooper for Miami & Reid for FSU were especially just :wow:.

I wondered if it was just me. I flicked over to the game a couple of times last night and I swear it looked like it was on fast-forward.

Ya both teams have some serious speed. This will be the year that Florida State and Miami move back into the top 15. Both teams have speed at all positions, great young talent, two more than capable QBs, the ability to stuff the run, and a plethera of runningbacks.

What was obvious last night was poor secondary discipline. I know Florida State has some depth at those positions so they have options and they should make some changes. I don't know enough about Miami's secondary to say the same for them.

It should be fun to see what Miami does against Gtech, Vtech, and Oklahoma in Weeks 3, 4, 5. Same goes for Florida State when we play BYU in week 3 in Utah.

Anybody catch that 1-5-5 formation we were using last night? We had a defensive end playing nose tackle, 5 linebackers, 3 corners, and 2 safeties. It produced a sack and an interception but we left it on the field for too long on one drive and Miami capitalized. Scary formation for opponents. They are calling it the Prowler formation.
