What game was the best win in Texans history?

i'd say it would have to be opening night against Dallas. But some runner-ups would be the blowout win against Pittsburgh and the last second win against the Jaguars

best win so far is dallas, the game i enjoyed the most was New England, even though we lost i thought we showed a lot that game

id say beating dallas was the biggest win in team history, but i think our 21-0 win at jax was huge bc it was our first shutout ever and it was against a divisional rival as they were seeking a playoff spot

I believe you will find the 19-10 game an overwhelming favorite, without a doubt!! Only thing better than that will be when we win the SB!

How could you not say the Dallas game in 2002. That was our first game at home under the lights vs. our rival at that time. That was a great game to watch.

I agree about Dallas being the greatest win. I think our greatest loss was vs. Minnesota. We should alot of heart and desire to come from that far behind to send the game into overtime. I believe we should have won that game, but stuff happens.

as my name indicates...i hate the titans (er....bud)...but it is hard to deny 19-10, Baby!!! i go to dallas a lot for business. whenever, someone starts in with the mavs beating the rocket talk...i simply say 19-10. all conversation seems to come to an end when this simple, yet powerfull statement is made. big hair dallas still can't handle the truth!!!! :crying:

I thought the New England game was the most exciting game thus far. I wasn't at the Dallas game, but any win against the the cow patties is a great win. Best win:19-10. NUFF SAID!

Just curious, I agree with the fact that the Dallas win was the biggest, but i'ts because I think the Cowboys are our biggest rival. To me thats why the win was so sweet, but on the "biggest rival" thread no one agrees. Can anyone back me up on this???

Let me ask you this....

How can a team be our biggest rival when we play them twice a decade and will never meet them in the playoffs unless it is the Super Bowl?

It was the biggest win just because of what surrounded it. Yes, Dallas is a rival, but only because of geography. Take out that fact and there is no football reason they would be a rival. They are not in our division, not even in our conference and we will only play them twice a decade minus preseason games and a possible (be still my heart) Super Bowl matchup.

The win was big because (first and foremost) it was our first game EVER, we were on a national game, they are Dallas, what they said on Hard Knocks and I was in one of the opening shots by ESPN to start the game.

In pure football terms, I might say the Dolphins win in season two would be a good choice.

You know Vinny/Swisher I guess you guys are right, the games against Dallas will always be huge, but they don't happen that often. I guess I'ts just the fact that I am an admitted Cowboy hater (do they have meetings for that?) haha. I guess we'll have to settle for only kicking their a**es every four years! Hey, can I at least keep my Quote?

plus the fact that I think everyone in houston has a cowboy fan in there family or group of friends and Love to throw that in there face. I know I do

Amen brother! A good friend of mine from school is a die-hard Cowgirl fan. He hates to even run into me, he knows he'll get an earful.

19-10 baby. It was the most exciting Texans game I've ever attended.

The Jaguars game with David Carr extending over the top on the last play is 2nd in excitement factor. It's the kind of play that drives a crowd crazy and definitely makes you feel you're getting your money's worth.

My favorite was the opening night Dallas game, until.....

we came from behind to beat up the ex-Oilers of Tennessee - that just felt right. I could picture Bud Adams face as Houston completed the season sweep in grand fashion.

i kinda liked the panthers game in the second season. to go out and beat a superbowl team in your second season isn't bad at all.
