Titans-cowboys

they said that the punters were hitting the scoreboard .. so that is a mind ninja thing when punting

titans haven't done much in the first half so far.
I dont' know if that is good or bad.. because as an opponent you don't get much film

cowboys remind me of the Rangers ..esp offensively.. they start out hot and then everyone catches up and toward the end of the season... well one and done

Joe Buck's head is long, quite scary on HD.

He's such a ding dong.

all that and Titans lead 10-7 but Cowboys are threatening late in 2nd quarter
cowboys making it look easy down to the titans 10
with 21 seconds

I am depressed in not being there as it seems the atmosphere is favorable for football. Heck no, that wasn't offensive pass interference.

Faggins goes out there and is immediately picked on. He misses a tackle on Felix Jones on the screen and Jones goes for like 50 yards. Then Romo hits Williams on an easy 10 yard completion because Faggins is playing soft. Then Faggins gets pass interference in the endzone. I am so happy Faggins is not on the Texans anymore.

It is messed up, eerily like Carr. I am very happy for Faggins and his current employer.

LOL @ the Cowgirls new stadium, the punt hit the scoreboard. :spit:

I think its kind of BS that they have to kick it over, what if it ends up being a crappy punt?

1 Billion dollars, and they didn't build the scoreboard high enough to not get hit by punts. Fail.

I seem to recall punters being brought in during construction to test the scorboard height?

Yeah that's pretty bad. Those scoreboards look pretty ridiculous right now.

I LOWER myself to route for the Trojans and ONCE AGAIN the muff-huggas leave me feeling as if I were kicked it the nads! My own fault for believing in them!

Look at the bright side and hope they play the same when when the Texans are on their schedule.

It would be nice if I could get a phone call about the game night experience. That game was well attended.

Screens like that are sensitive electronic equipment. They are not constructed to endure physical impact.

BTW, as I hear it, Stretch spent so much money on the screen that there was not even enough money left over in the budget for the matching remote.:texflag:

Unreal, my power went out with the storm right before 7 and just now got back on at 11:30. Was really looking forward to watching this game to check out the stadium and see how the Titans played. Doesn't seem like they played too well.

On another note, are there archived posts from the NFL section because I totally called the scoreboard being within range of punts a few months ago when I saw the first pictures. I assumed it was some sort of optical illusion/bad angle or whatever because how can anyone let that happen?

well, they spun the hole into something positive in their old home, so I'm sure this will be spun into something with either "God" or "America" in the reason they left it so low.

By the first regular season game the video screen will be adjusted..they have a device that will lower and raise the video screen. It's obviously not in place yet but will be by the Giants game.

any word on who gets the remote control during games?

In addition to not being able to throw a pass, VY can't tackle either. Did you see him get wiped out after his interception? Ha Ha!

The Cowboys are not missing T.O. they still have a solid group of wideouts. Not a HOF core but ok. Three great backs who catches out of the backfield that's liking having an extra wideouts on the field. Romo looked great for the most part I think T.O. being gone is going to help alot because now it's not the T.O. Tony Romo show anymore and Tony knows now that he is the man who has to make things happen. Both TE's are locks out there on the field in the passing game and with blocking as well. A vet OL who knows their job and plays well together as a unit. It was only one preseason game but the D looked good too not giving up any points in the second half and forcing INT's. The starters did not play the whole game but boy they looked good.

I think VY throws across his body way to much . Peyton Manning's feet are shifting , ball locked and loaded , eyes from one option to another , and boom it's gone . VY doesn't shift his feet and his 3/4 drop makes him about as accurate as a bent arrow ... maybe a blazing one .

Oh yeah ... your right ... he won't be a strong safety .

But but but... he's going to be in the HOF or so he says but for him he should be looking foward to going into the HOS.
