Making It Rain Video

Jones told police he arrived at the club with "close to $100,000." He took $40,000 out of his Louis Vuitton bag and exchanged it for several stacks of $1 bills
A fool and his money are soon parted

The guy is a total turd. He's the whole package. Is he even on anybody's roster at this point? I confess to having completely put Pacman out of my mind (gladly) so I honestly don't know.

No, he is not. Hopefully he's done in the NFL.

My cheap ass would never do something this stupid. The best I could do for these strippers is take $100 in nickles and throw those coins around. Hell yeah baby, I'd be making hail m****r *******az!!

Try putting $5 in nickels in that gstring. 'Although they do have slots too. (Not a good mental image)

You have to remember, that $100,000 to him is like maybe $250 to us working class people. As far as Andre, these are young, wealthy, aggressive guys. Its just to bad things got out of control.

um, no. 100,000 is still 100k and buys 100k worth of life no matter who's hands it is in. Instead of doing something good for his extended family he chose to give it to people who share his meager little brain size. Wealthy people go broke all the time.....it's still gonna be a hunnert K when he goes broke.

We don't know what he has done for his extended family or if he's broke. We all have varying degrees of disposable income. People may wonder why some of us choose to waste money on season tix. Money that could be used for extended family members or whatever.

Personally i could care less about how they spend what they have worked for.

It's not even just that he was throwing the money around. The dispute started, because Pac man was a freaking poser with all that cash in the first place. He got upset because the strippers took the money. He wanted to look like a bad ass by throwing all of that cash around, but didn't want the girls to take it. Once they took the money, apparently he started getting all angry and then eventually grabbed a woman by her hair and banged her head against something and the melee went on from there. I remember reading all of that when it all happened. THe guy is a joke. I've seen guys throw cash around before like that, and that's there right to do if they want to throw their cash around, but you can't go to a strip club and throw it around and not expect the dancers to pick it up and take it. That's what they do all day and night.

I don't care either. But one would have to be a complete moron to think that "throwing" around that kind of cash in that setting is not going to lead to something bad happening.

I was surprised to see Andre Johnson's name.

So was I. I'm suprised more people haven't commented on this.
I had to do a double take just to see that he was at the club during the incident as well. I figured he would stay out of situations like that, including around people like PacMan.

Michael Corleone said never go against the family.

woah - I just re-watched the video and heard no mention of Andre Johnson. Can someone bring me up to speed. I hope it's just a case of wrong place at the wrong time with Andre.

He's mentioned in the article below the video. It details the celebrities that were in the club at the time of the incident.

I think I saw Texan Bill in the vid. He was standing at the dance floor's edge with a single in his hand looking like I do when I've been put on hold for twenty minutes. :D

I'm not sure if PacMan was pissed they were picking up the money. I think his buddy grabbed the mike the wanted the girls to keep working and dancing instead of stopping to pick up cash.

surprised by andre johnsons name........You guys most definately dont get out in the houston night scene........

First off they are all grown man....and if they want to go to regular or strip clubs thats there business and there money

but let me be the first to break the news to you that our beloved texans and rockets for that matter live in the club scene here.....regular and strip clubs here in h-town......I see them all the time as well as every other houston rapper or celebrity....they dont be acting idiotic like pac man I will def say that....

That's right but I don't really agree with the throwing around cash statement. I valet parked for 12 years. I've worked at nightclubs and the Mens Club as well as Michael's. Pro players as well as famous rappers were regular well tipping customers. Not once have I ever seen any kind of meelee occur like what happened at Minxx. In fact, I don't believe I've ever seen a famous person get ejected. I always see the good acts they do.

As for the valet in the article... I can fully relate. We're the first and last people when one goes to an establishment. We welcome them then we send them on their way. We see a lot going on. Dodging bullets was a part of the job. Really was.

Despite all of that.... i'd still be game for giving Pacman a shot on our team. I want to win some football games. If he can beat out our other CBs then...

Thats what I said......I said they dont be acting idiotic like pac man....

thats wasn't what the original statement was about....somebody said they were surprised that they saw andre johnson's name thrown about and him being in that club that night as well when the pac man shooting popped off

I was just stating that they shouldn't be to surprised because andre, mario, jacoby, and the rest of the boys live in the clubs in houston..........see them all the time on the regular.....

Hell even when they had road games....mark my words no lie......I would see those guys in the club no later than 12:30 on a away game day.....it use to trip me out....I always wondered how the hell did they get from another city and dressed and in a club by midnight....LOL:foottap::jogger:

Chris Rock had a great routine where he talked about the difference between rich and having Wealth. Wealthy people do not go broke, but rich ones do. Remember, Rick James was rich, but wealth is money that is passed down for generations.

you can't get "wealthy" if you throw your money away. Perhaps this little "secret" of money escapes some of you guys.

I wonder who in their right mind would hire PacMan for more than minimum wage. I can't say I sympathize, but I think he's going to have a very sad post-football life.

Patrick Ewing said it best:

Lol @ Patrick Ewing spending money.

I parked his car at TOC/Rehab. He came in with an entourage. Told me to take care of him and to park his car out front. I did. He came out and gave me 10 bucks and told me to give him his keys. I went and gave him his keys. He stopped me and asked me how much valet parking was. I told him it was 8 dollars. He asked for his change and then proceeded to complain about how ridiculous it was for me to park his car out front and then charge him an outrageous fortune, etc etc. It was to the point to where he was now making a scene and holding up the rest of my customers. He said something along the lines of how he's sick and tired of people taking advantage of him because of who he is. Through the whole tirade I'm trying to give him his 2 dollar change. Finally, I told him to go fly a kite and keep his money and paid the 8 dollars out of my pocket. It was not worth dealing with at the time. He was being a real jerk.

Cheap bastard.

I've had 4 other notable customers like that. Jason Alexander from Friends, Britney Spears, Bob Allen, and Scottie No-Tippin Pippin. Ewing was the loudest and most agravated of them all.

Pacman is just an ***** he should have known the dancers were going to pick up the money right after it was thrown. Do I think all of these stars should be spending money on stuff like this all of the time or every chance they get? Surely not but they are going to. Andre and others go and have their share I am sure of it but only a handfull of them act a fool like T.O. and Pacman. I don't want him on the Texans he is not a great player and has not shown he cares enough about football to help his team and to not want to act like an ass off the field. No thanks.

Going to the strip club is fine as a single man, but throwing money into the air and complaining about the dancers picking it up is dumb. Throwing the money into the air on top of the dancers is dumb in the first place.

The day Pac Man becomes a Texan is the day I stop rooting for the Texans until he's gone. Fortunately I don't have to worry about that because I know good and well that Mcnair would never sign that toxic waste of a human being ever.

please for gods sakes........stop the jokes........

april fools was about 2 months ago.......you missed that holiday.....:ohsnap::thumbdown

I understand that Pacman is a small human being but I really liked how he played on Sundays. That's the bottom line for me. Sundays.

I know it'll never happen nor will I ever fight for Pacman. Just saying for 3 hours on Sunday... I'll be a fan. He's a playmaker.

He was dam good on the Titans. No one would argue that, but he's was awful on the Cowboys. Having an entire year off messed his game up pretty badly.

Sure. He's still earned a shot in my eyes based on his days in Tennessee.
He hasn't done anything since his days in Tennessee because he does not care enough about the game and rather act like a clown off the football field.

His days in Tennessee were not all that long ago. Pacman also had a lot of distractions in Dallas. Come Sunday, he's a playmaker when focused.

The Texans are building through the draft with youngsters like Glover and others and I rather that's what they do rather than take an older vet who is a total troulbe maker who may come to Houston and get in trouble once again.

The draft is over. We know who our rookies are. Sign Pacman and throw him in the mix. Whoever comes out of training camp the better player get a slot on the roster. It's not like we'd be losing a draft pick or having a draft pick too many. It's all after the fact.

I want the best possible team out there on Sundays.

Keep in mind, I'm not saying Pacman would be the best player. I'd just be very willing to be a team that'll give him a shot. Other teams will also be willing to do that. Nothing wrong with a shot at making the roster.

Glover is going to be better than pacman because he cares I feel it.

Well there you go! We'd better not give Pacman an opportunity then. You've got a sound argument there.

Seriously, it's just training camp. Camp fodder even. Best man standing wins.

It's been...3 seasons? You can chalk up his bad season to a lack of preparation.

The thing I'm worried about is whether Goodell would allow him to play. One DUI, maybe even one parking ticket, could be it. It's one thing to sign him in 2005 when Marcus Coleman and Aaron Glenn were on the team, but on a DB squad where he becomes an example, it would be dangerous to have someone so irresponsible.

From what I recall it was not that the girls could not take the money but they were supposed to wait for him to finish doing what ever before they could take it. And I guess the cash was for mainly one or two of them and another girl jumped in and started grabbing up cash.
