ESPNews reports the Baltimore Ravens have released LB Peter Boulware.

LINK Do you guys think the Texans will even look at him? I think they want to start Peek and Babin, because they are the future, so I don't think so.

If we were to go after boulware i'd wonder why we let go of sharper. I'm sure we won't be though.

I got our starting corps at Greenwood, Babin, Peek, and Moreno.

If we could get him for a deal similar to what Chad Brown got from the Pats, 2 years @ $2M a season, he would be a great addition. He is younger and has been more productive than Chad.

He's played in the 3-4 his entire career at ROLB (Peek's projected position)and never had LESS THAN 7 SACKS in a season. He has been to 4 Pro Bowls and won a Superbowl.

Check the stats: http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/3907/career

He's been durable, never missing a game until injuring his knee in the final game of 2003. He missed all of last year to knee and toe injuries.

If he passes medical and we can get a cap-smart contract, sigining Boulware would solidify our OLB core. Let Peter and Peek battle it our for the starting gig!!

Did Wong call the plays last year?
I don't think so. I am pretty sure that it was either Foreman or Sharper that called the plays. It is usually the MLB duty to call the plays, and with both Sharper and Foreman gone, the next logical choice would be someone that is already familiar with the plays (Wong).

Honestly I'm not sold on wong being the starter. Moreno is one heck of a run-stuffer. Which is kinda strange since he was last year. I just can't see bringing in moreno to sit the bench. Unless he doing the goaline D.
