i was wrong about beating denver but i thought they said we had but we will this year

ya we have never beaten Denver. And if we do beat the colts, it's going to be at home. No way we beat them in Indy yet.

I'm thinking positive and saying it now: we sweep the Colts this year! :thumbup

Matter-of-fact, I think we go 5-1 against our division.

that would be very nice. we did great in our division last year but we didn't do so hot at home. Hopefully this year, we will have about the same record in our division but improve our home record a lot.

yeah i wacth them but i also wacth alot of other teams play so i dont keep up who we play when we play and where i just dont remember all that stuff all

ok well its common sense, we play each team in our division twice, once at home and once on the road, our division is the AFC South with

Colts
Titans
Texans
Jags

Just incase u didnt know !

I think we'll win 1. Not sure whether its home or not. Because we aren't a bad road team.

I think the colts have regressed honestly. They have way too much money tied up in the golden boy and its going to cost them. I won't say we are even with them talent wise but if we aren't we are daaaaamn close.

On offense??? I don't think their's but maybe 2 teams in the whole NFL that have the kind of talent that Indy has, if any. On defence however, they are young, and will be better, but I believe our defence will be better than theirs. The key to beating Indy is having an offence that can run the ball well enough to keep it out of their hands, NOBODY will be shutting down Indy. You have to keep the ball, and thus keep the score low to beat them, you try and out score them, and you'll loose every time.

Another Key to beating them is you have to be able to rush the passer which we haven't been able to do. That is one of the biggest reasons why New England has had such great success against them. Indy's passing game is built around timing routes. Peyton has gotten so good at it he can probably just count the ticks off in his head and complete the pass blindfolded. You HAVE to be able to put pressure on him and disrupt their timing, if you can do that you will force interceptions.

Will be awesome to finally beat them. I think that beating Indy is a big step in development and a big step in becoming a threat. I can see us maybe making a wild card this year (MAYBE) but 2006 we will be a major player.

Relatively speaking, the Texans did a very good job in the Indy games last year at getting after the QB. Manning was only sacked more than once by two teams last year, Houston and San Diego. He was only sacked 13 times total and 3 of those were by Houston (in the two times the Colts played NE, he was only sacked 2 times--he probably was pressured more, but I never have found a source for QB hurries). He also gave up 2 of his 10 Int's to Houston. And of course we can't forget the refs helping whiney boy out with accidental whistle calls--oops no fumble and calling no fumble due to loss of forward progress.

We also gave up way too many huge plays. I can still see Stokley zigzagging across the field and our guys faceplanting themselves trying to tackle him. :crying: Dallas Clark for an 80 yard touchdown? How does Coleman let a tight end get behind him? This was on a play where we actually forced Manning out of the pocket. :brickwall

Ever hear of "punctuation"? It's commonly used when making sentences, paragraphs, etc... It would make this a ;lot easier to read. And when, exactly, did WE(the Texans) beat Denver? I remember a blowout, but we were on the wrong end of it. To answer your question, yes!!! We beat Indy IN Indy and win the Super Bowl by 98 points. Or the margin the Rockets lost to the Mavs by in game 7 whichever is lower). And whichever makes you feel better about lack of punctuation.

Yeah, but it was to hit or miss and Dunta acounted for all those sacks and when the only person on your team that can get sacks is your cb that is not a good sign. We need to be able to consistently pressure Manning (preferably with our lbs which is the backbone of the 3-4) without having to bring our cb on a corner blitz. On all the other plays which we didn't bring an all out blitz with Dunta, Manning had all day to throw and if you give him that much time he will pick you apart. Also we need to take a page out of the Patriots playbook since we run the same defense. They do a great job of disguising their blitz packages and we need to do the same. This year we are going to have speed out of the ying yang on defense and I feel we'll be able to do a better job at all of the above.

I think that we will beat the colts once this year, Manning is going to have a down year, which for him means 29 tds, 13 ints and 3700 yards. There d will lose the game for they. I predict Texans 25, Colts 22.

maybe he's a teacher or something, and he has a weird obsession over grammer. oh well let him complain plus it is hard to read peoples stuff when they have no breaks in a paragraph.

true, but at the same time, you can simply read it, and know where the breaks should fall. its common sense, so whats the need for it, the guy isnt writing a report, its a freakin message board... its not like at the end of the day, Vinny comes along and grades us on how we used our grammar today.
