I've seen it a few times. My Son and I used to watch the Japanese version all the time and laugh our butts off.

I watch this show with my kids all the time and we have such a good laugh together, it's so much fun to all be ROTFL together. I am going to watch the video now. Thanks for posting.

Funniest thing I have seen in a while. Thanks for posting it.

Wipeout is my youngest son's favorite show. I look forward to showing this clip to him. Thanks for posting it, man!

I guess this was shot the day before Ron Dayne competed...the mechanical donuts were still there.

Seriously though, for a gameshow that's not Japanese....those looked rough!!! Bouncing around Salaam like he's a toddler and not a 6'5'' 300 pound fully grown man!

I don't know any other way to ask, so I will...I mean nothing by it and it stems purely from curiosity....Is Chester Pitts gay?

The hug... regulars on the Ellen show... hmm

Just kidding, its highly unlikely. There was a photo shoot of his family on the sugarland magazine recently I think

This video was really funny. Ephraim really does have a great personality, I wonder what he will do when he retires from football.

I dunno, but he sure rode that rubber donut! :user:

Ha, yeah, I don't care how much padding those dadgum donuts had, it surely had to get uncomfortable after the first couple bumps. Hopefully they were wearing cup's for protection. Going through the punching wall alone would be enough to make me want to wear one.

The reason I asked in the first place really....

Maybe he's just a chick? I mean....he didn't seem phased by that donut ride...

Surprised that kind of physical activity is permitted in their contracts.

I would classify that as fairly dangerous and likely to cause an injury.

Any know what kind of restrictions are written into contracts about off season activity?

Imagine Pitts getting injured playing that game, and then having to face Kubiak....:scare:

Have you guys seen some of the specimens they have on that show? There are some awfully unathletic looking people and very, very rarely does anyone get hurt. They are all padded up. I wasn't too worried

Fantastic, Loved watching that. Cracked me up when Salaam was literally rolling around on the floor laughing.

On the show, they show you what they want to show you. It isn't reality TV. With a number of these shows, there have been some serious injuries that don't get much publicity. It's hard for the contestant to sue because the shows put HUGE contracts together that say you can't sue for anything and enumerates all the risks.

I have a friend that was on Fear Factor and he said the scariest part was signing the contract.

I don't care how much padding and helmets you have on. You slip weird on any of that stuff and you can hurt yourself. The course is meant to humiliate.

EXACTLY. That's all I thought about while I was watching Pitts leap from bananan to banana, etc.

That's a big man, leaping from a very slippery obstacle...trying to stretch out and make it to the next one. Knee ligaments. Strain. Weight. Torque.

McNair needs to have Mario bring Pitts in for a little talk. :)

Mario wouldn't have anything to say. I've seen him out mudding with his 4-wheeler many times. Let me point out that the place we go isn't really a ride in the park. So, padded donuts? Or a jacked up 4-wheeler burried in 4 foot water/mud and hauling ass through the trails?

BTW, he's got some badass 4-wheelers too.

Pitts is a smart guy who has never missed a snap in Texans history (if memory serves). I think he's earned the benefit of the doubt on this one. Its all in good fun, lets let him live his life
