Bengals on Hard Knocks

HoustonFrog

Dallas Frog
That's the word. Should be fun

http://www.profootballtalk.com/2009/04/28/bengals-to-be-on-hard-knocks/

Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Equirer reports (via TSB) that the Bengals might be the next NFL franchise featured on HBO’s Hard Knocks.

We recently were told (and of course forgot to post) that the Bengals are and will be the subjects of the 2009 season of the show.

Many teams want no part of the endeavor, due to concerns that their opponents would study every second of the coverage in the hopes of gaining an advantage.

Those fears might be unfounded. Still, ”might” won’t change the views of ultra-secretive football minds like Bill Parcells, Bill Belichick, and Scott Pioli.

Let’s say the chances of yielding a competitive advantage are only one percent if a team participates in the series.

If they don’t, the chances of that happening are zero.

lol:

I was thinking "Hard Time"

1560 was talking about this last night, said HBO hit a friggin' home run with the Bengals.

-Chris Perry
-Tank Johnson
-Chad Ochocinco
-Cedric Benson
-Ray (USC-not going to attempt to spell that name)
-Coles

It seems like they always show teams that are somewhat successful and pretty stable as franchises.

In this case, we have a team trying not to rebuild and a coach on the hot seat. This one should be way more interesting.

LOL, I canceled HBO and got showtime because that's where NFL Today was moved to.

Oops.

I'm pissed that HBO canceled the show as the new crew bedsides Simms and Collinsworth suck. Lombardi is no replacement for Peter King, even if he is a Favre homer. The Showtime segments suck and I feel that Costas brought more to the table then Brown has. I wont lie I will still watch it on Showtime, but it will never be the same show.

Chris Perry is no longer with the team, there was a thread about this on TTalk, I think. :specnatz:

Who else saw the season premiere last night ? I thought it was excellent as usual. Tells it like it is.
When the Turk cut the young FB, it was kinda touching. I mean who likes to get fired and who hasn't been there once or twice before ? Gotta feel for the kid.
Gotta admit Chad Johnson (Cinco, whatever the hell his handle is ?), really is a funny guy.

I saw it, it was a good show. Chad Uno Dos Tres Quatro, was actually entertaining.

just downloaded it and watched it - i've already found it way more interesting that last seasons with Dallas.

it's hard not to like Chad.

yeah, not the best thing to be woken up to that's for sure!
