Imagine this Formation

cptnbreakdance

Waterboy
Two tight ends in Miller and Joppru, AJ and JM on the outsides, and JG in the slot, with an empty backfield from the shotgun. Defences wouldn't know what to do, so many weapons.

We could burn you deep from both sides with Aj and JM or have any number of underneath routs from the tight ends, and JG.

Stupid post but I was just thinking about it watching the minicamp clips.

for confusion sakes might as well DD in the slot instead of JG, i mean we all know DD can catch. But what confusion that would cause

I think I've seen Indy run it with Manning, Pollard, Clark and their 3 great receivers. If I remember correctly Dallas Clark would get open.

Man this thread is making me think back to the days of the Oilers and the old Run and Shoot with Moon under center and Drew Hill, Ernest Givins, Haywood Jeffries, and Curtis Duncan at WR...

Sounds good but, Carr would still have trouble finding a target when he's looking up. That said I don't think the Oline will be as bad this year.

Sounds cute but with a OL like ours right now considering our best T is the RT whose forte is RUN blocking we'd have Carr in the ER by Halftime of the opener.

Though i do miss the Moon and Boyz. *Cries thinking about 1992 playoff game*

Those were the days. Webster Slaughter was a nice addition as well when he joined the team in 1992.
