Lions to have a revamped logo?

^ Saw this image posted online, and I got a bit skeptical, and then I ran into this website...

I don't really know if it's official or not, but I do like how it looks. But jokingly people say "It still won't help them win any games." I found that funny yet oh so true!

The one on the left looks like a fresh new tatoo. The one on the right looks like the same tatoo 10 years later.

...I've actually seen this and the redesigned uniforms a few weeks ago (think of the Cardinals uniforms except with Detroit colors), and I have to say, if it worked for the Cardinals, I guess it should work for the Lions?

But if it doesn't.... oh well. They were who we thought they were.

Awful. A Nintendo version of the original logo. And whats with the lions mane? It looks like a young Simba. They should have gone with new uniforms, but kept the classic look of the logo like the Packers.

Either that, or just change it up like the buccaneers did going from a buccaneer to a skull flag on a sword.
 
I like the new logo, but the team needs a head to toe change. Jerseys need to be updated and pants. I think Matt Millen's face on the a** of the pants would be appropriate. Perhaps they could put his likeness on all the urinal cakes in the stadium. I believe that alone would increase beer sales. :lion:
 
Looks better aesthetically in my opinion but is it really that important for a team that needs so many other things changed?
