Personally, I think at least two threads need to be put out of their misery.

The 'Carr or HARRINGTON' thread, and the 'Do or Die for Carr' thread.
I'm sure there will be some of you that disagree, but I think that they have lived longer than they ever should've. Of course, there are probably a lot more threads that should die quietly, but these two get my vote.

What do you think?

I say the "Do or Die for Carr" should go I mean Harrington and Carr will always be compared I mean they were drafted the same year etc. The "Do or Die for Carr" is Bogus get rid of it!

I feel kinda the opposite, Carr is steadly improving, but until he has that all-pro year like many think he will. The "Do or Die" question will always be around. As for the other, I think Carr has proved several times over that he is better than Joey, and thus the question should go away.

Ah, but amalgamate the two and you have one thread which makes perfect sense. Unfortunately, it belongs on the Lions boards not here. Carr may or may not ever be a true superstar, but he is undoubtedly well on the way to being a top-50%-of-the-NFL-QB, and to acquire someone better than that other than through the decidedly chancy medium of the draft is extortionately expensive even in the rare case where it is possible at all. As for the comparison thread, that too is clearly preposterous, as poor David will never be able to match Joey's completion rate when throwing Detroit's best acquisition in recent years, the bloke in row F with the aisle seat wearing a funny hat. But "Do-or-die for Harrington" is a thread that might be worthwhile if anyone had anything to say on the subject beyond, "Well, duh."

I haven't really seen much of those post lately.. I dont think its make or break season for Carr. But I do believe these next 2-3 seasons are. Harrington on the other hand, I really do believe its a make or break for him. No excuses, they improved oline, running game, and WR( if they stay healthy ).

There is no point in censoring for the sake of it. While obnoxious, these threads are not obscene.
