My game blog from Texans Jags game!

Howdy! I hope y'all had fun! Ok that's my Texan intro..

That gentlemen standing and singing on top of the bus at the Raging Bull Tailgating party is Glenn "Sweet" Miller, he sings in a cover band called Wattzit2ya and their motto is "the more you drink the better we sound!" I have been helping the tailgate for the past couple of years with setting up/cleaning up and making sure I along with everyone else is having a good time. There is nothing like waking up at 4:30a to meet up at 5:00a and heading to the stadium when it's still dark outside and watching the sunrise over Reliant Stadium...gives me chills.

Glad you enjoyed the game and the tailgating, come back and see us!
 
A good question, about rankings, i really tried to stray away from rankings, because it is not a fair experiement, as i missed some tailgates, eg, colts, pats and seahawks,
but i can only write about my expereinces not as a general for all.
i would have to say i was very impressed with the texan set up.

i would say you guys are right up there with the best of them
Lambeau, then heinz field, then you guys, Arizona run for third place. I hope you think that's pretty good going.

i had a great time at Houston and i hope to be back soon!

Adam...it was good to meet you. Give us some heads up when you return and we'll see about getting you some seats in the Bull Pen. The ushers are alot nicer when you have a ticket down there...lol.

Then I misunderstood you when we met. You were coming back up from the Bull Pen (in the end zone) and told me the ushers weren't very nice. And that people were yelling "Check his ticket"...lol.


I thought you had seats in another area. Either way...can't wait to do it all again.

Nice blog Adam. Good job on keeping the partying going, representing the football fans in the UK brilliantly, and managing to get to the Reliant! Hope the purse-strings aren't pulled too tight now, but it looks like you had one amazing (and envy inducing!) trip.

Adam, Waddy (Peter Waddington) is living in California now but he is from across the pond. Also, Andy (Sideline from this board) currently lives in UK. He plays semi-pro American football over there.

There are many others, as you can see. For some reason, the Texans appeal to Brits.:texflag:
