Saw Studdard today!

Don't know if this belongs here so sorry. I saw Kasey Studdard today in Austin at Texas Land and Cattle Co. He was there with Vince Young and some other dudes. Couldn't tell if they were former Longhorns or not. Anyhow I went up to Kasey Studdard and told him I am a Texan fan. Even showed him my Houston Texan watch to let him know "I know what time it is." I asked him if I could take a picture with him and he did. He even remembered that I gave him a copy of my Texans fight song.

After I took the pic I said "What's up Vince?" and walked away. I will post the pic when I get the camera from my mother in law.

How fat did he look? In order to measure what kind of shape Studdard is in, it's simple. Was he able to reach his plate with those alligator arms of his or did his stomach prevent him inching his chair in close enough. Sometimes, he has to get Vince to cut up his steak for him. When he's in really bad shape, Vince has to just feed him.


I did find humor in the Vince slight though... good for you!

I like Studdard. Very nice guy to fans.

This is probably the first time ever that a fan has come up to that group and gushed over meeting Studdard and not so much Vince Young.

They were proabably there for the 7 for $7 lunch specials. I go there a lot because there is one roight down the street from my office and its a good cheap, fast lunch.
 
It was like 9pm and they were eating dinner. I did make everybody at my table why I got a picture with Studdard instead of VY and I just told him it was simple. Vince is not a Texan and Kasey is.

Hey, I said what's up to Vince. I didn't ignore the guy. They were all sitting at the table texting and Vince didn't look like he cared.

That's cool. On a related topic, I bump into Kasey's uncle ever so often at the Pluckers in RR, he's a nice guy, I have only talked to him about Kaey twice though, I usually just say and hi and maybe shoot the breeze.

Shirts were on. Trust me if there is a place with a bunch of dudes with their shirts off, El Tejano is not in the building.

I will say though, that there were 4 of them but Kasey Studdard (The Texan) was the only one there with a woman.

My die hard UT fans say Studdard is a great guy and the couple of times I have seen him public he seems to be having a controlled good time and making others laugh. Perfect locker room guy in my opinion and at the right price.

Studdard may be a nice guy and a solid locker room presense, but as has been said an untold number of times he's just ill-suited for our ZB system and its more of an unfortunate example of Kubiaks nepotistic mentality & lack of commitment to team priorities than his loyalty to old friends.

I asked a few of my friends that go to UT and they said that Vince was most likely here because he still goes to school in the offseason. Studdard was here because he stays in RR or somewhere close.
