Kitna to the Cowboys

Farough

Rookie
I'm sorrry I cant find the link, I lost it after i had it.
The article said it was for late picks in the draft.

So I guess the Cowboys hope Mike Jenkins and his "ole'" tackling skills are worth starting opposite Newman. Ha!

They finally landed a QB.

Kitna-to-Roy Williams all day long.

Tony is about to have more free time to take hobos to the movies.

I am truly saddened that I will not get to watch Brad "Brad Johnson" Johnson quarterback for the Cowboys anymore. Those 3 games this season were absolutely hilarious.

Unfortunately, this makes the Cowboys a better team. Say what you will about Kitna, but he can fill it up when given a chance. He's a helluva lot better backup than Brad Johnson.

There are probably some high school quarterbacks that would be a better backup than Brad Johnson. I could have used antacids during the games that he played. He made me appreciate the time we had Drew Bledsoe.

and yet Johnson has more playoff wins than Tony Romo. :)

I'm not convinved that losing a starting CB for a back-up QB makes your team better.

Just the beginning of a string of frugal moves that JJ (and the Cowboys) will need to adhere to like many "normal" owners, now that he's facing potential financial debaucle with his huge new stadium overruns (for which he alone is responsible), lack of naming rights monies, and collapsed "Complex" plans for the supporting convention center(s)/hotels/restaurants and "Disney Land-like" surroundings.

This adds up to salary dump. Henry had on year left on his contract and got burned alot last year. They thought about moving him to safety. I still think the Lions got a little better of a deal but I also think Kitna, given the chance, can still light it up and anything is better than Brad J. So they got a true backup and got rid of some salary but they still need more secondary help.

They also added Keith Brooking as a cheap LB to help since Zach Thomas ill be gone

Just because Henry started doesn't mean he is a great player.

Henry can't cover my grandma these days. He shouldn't be playing anything other than FS.

Now that was a good pick up.

Well they had to do something...Brad Johnson was painfully ineffective and I thought he had the game to still play...WRONG!

You better have a good backup or in this league it'll bite you in the rear.
