I heard this on the radio today and wasn't surprised that Ryan won, but I was a little surprised Slaton and Flacco didn't get any votes at all. Slaton should have gotten enough votes for 2nd since he was the top rookie rusher in the league. JMHO!
 
there was like 10 rookies who could've gotten a vote, but obviously Matt Ryan has had one of the finest seasons ever for a rookie QB, so it's pretty much a layup.

compare his numbers to Vince Young's ROTY performance. laughable
 
I saw a few Falcon games this season and he was playing like a veteran....he was amazing this season.
 
Yup...no arguments about that. Nice to see Stevie didn't get a single vote though.

Will be interesting to see how he does now with the pressure and expectancy on him to produce is there!

265/434- 61.1% 3,440 yards 16 TD's 11 Int's, 17 sacks: Rating of 87.7
55 rushes for 104 yards and 1 TD, 6 fumbles- 1 lost.

Vince Young (15 games):
184/357- 51.5% 2,199 yards 12 TD's 13 Int's, 25 sacks: Rating of 66.7
83 rushes for 552 yards and 7 TD's, 12 fumbles- 3 lost.

Winner: Matty Ice.
