Tight end Mark Bruener lingered on the field with his family and played football with his kids a little longer than he typically does. They posed for pictures near the end zone after what was Brueners final game as a Texan.
Bruener, who only played in two games this season, was activated for the season finale and was named the teams honorary captain. He has spent the last five years of his 14-year NFL career with the Texans.
I have been enjoying every day as much as I can, said Bruener, whose sons attended practice with him Friday.
