Several readers have forwarded to us amazing video of Jets defensive end Shaun Ellis, a week after he delivered a last-minute win over the Bills, delivering a huge glob of snow into the stands at Qwest Field.

We think that Mr. Ellis will soon be hearing from the league about this one.

Wow, what nice sporting fans the Seahawks have.

Shouldn't get fined really, the provocation was worse.
 
the league shouldn't take any action against Ellis at all...they sure as hell weren't giving the players any protection as they walked off the field.
 
Looked to me like he gave them a thrill and the fan that he threw it at tried to save it, lol.

After all of the reports of the people who went to the Sunday night game a few years ago up in Seattle, their fanbase deserves lots of things thrown at them. Good for Ellis.
 
If he threw it that's one thing, but he basically just dumped a load of snow on some obnoxious fans pelting the losing team with snowballs. He deserves a bonus.

I agree. Goodell has been a strange one to figure out. He wants to Mr. Tough Guy by strict rule enforcement, yet he continues to let Pacman back into the League after each suspension? WTF? I'm willing to bet he's going to allow Vick back in as well.

Welker Fined for Snow Angel

It seems we've seen the last of Wes Welker's snow angel-making exploits on NFL Sundays.
The kid in him got the best of Wes Welker, who was flagged on Sunday, then fined on Wednesday for making a touchdown-inspired snow angel.

The New England Patriots wide receiver has been fined $10,000 by the NFL for exactly that.

"It was a spur of the moment deal, and you can be sure that it won't happen again," Welker was quoted as saying on The Boston Globe's Web site.

Welker was penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct Sunday for making a snow angel just beyond the end line after his touchdown in the first half of New England's 47-7 rout of the Arizona Cardinals

What a joke the league is. 10,000 grand for snow angels and a hunk of snow that the fans obviously enjoyed.
 
NFL takes this stuff to far, there is a difference between some of Chad Johnson's / TO's stuff vs these things
