What's your favorite Texan's uniform color combination?

I've not seen them in the red jerseys and blue pants.
Is that a wish of yours or did they actually dress out like that at one time?

For the road, I like white jerseys, blue pants and blue socks...thank goodness it seems they got rid of the red socks. (They give a Minuteman kind of look.) The blue socks will usher in the new era of the Texans' success! 12-4 or 11-5 next season!
One all-Liberty White Day is good as far as the white colors are concerned.
For home, mostly blue jerseys and white pants...then one game with all blue.
For Battle Red Day, definitely the red jerseys WITH white pants. All red with blue helmets looks worse than "ketchup", more like cherry shampoo bottles! So no, no all red.

We are an expansion team and we need to develop our identity and in my opinion the best way to do that visually is through consistency. I'd love it if we were to wear Liberty White over Deep Steel Blue for all games other than road games that the home team forces us to wear Blue over white. And then we could pull out the Battle Red for a big game. By doing that we would develop a much stronger national identity.
How many different uni's does Green Bay have? two. Home and Away. When you think of the Chicago Bears do you think about their orange jerseys? no. When you think of the Dallas Cowboys, you know what you think of. White over silver. Even seeing them in the blue jerseys is odd. The Raiders? The Steelers? Come on people.... Those are solid identities. We could be building the same sort. Sadly, we're not, but at least we're not the Bengals or the Bills or the Jags or the Thumbtacks, or the Seahawks... You get the point.

Yeah, the red jerseys were only with white pants until last year vs. Denver. That was the first all-red combo.
And we've never worn red pants with anything other than the red jerseys ('07 Denver & '08 Jax).

Not to take away from your point, but I find it interesting that the Cowgirls actually only wear the silver pants with the navy jersey. When they wear white jerseys, their pants are actually like an aqua-silver color...

I've seen Green Bay, the NYBretts, Steelers, Cowboys, Eagles, and Browns all in throwbacks on more than one occasion. So they have more than the home & away outfits.
Having said that, I understand where you're coming from. If'n I had my way, we'd wear white jerseys/blue pants away and blue jerseys/white pants at home - with one battle red jersey day when the Colts or Titans come to town. That's it.
The Texans' Wiki entry has all the color combos. The first two are the best, IMHO.

If we hadn't taken the field yet I would go for blue over white, but I now associate that scheme with bad football. Red over white would be my choice now.

I wish that the Texans would stop switching the colors all around. I would like one iconic Texan look.

I used to like the white, but they wear the white on blue too much, so Lean towards blue on blue (my personal fave) or Blue on White (best of both worlds).

We are one of the few teams that actually wear our throwbacks every game.
I agree with TC on the iconic Texan look. By now we could have had a visual identity since we are six years into this thing...but its like we wear something different at every home game.
