Buchannon a good trade?

i know this is being discussed a bit in the other thread but i wanna know wat u guys think bout the trade? was it good or bad? im not all sure if hes the type of player texans usually look for but they must have seen somethin in him to trade for him. so what do yall think?
 
the jags r soooo confident that there gonna run all over this guy when we shut them out without him....what makes em think there gonna be anybetter this year?
 
To me, I am thinking along the lines of a 2nd and Drew Henson(hypothetically) for Buchanon.. I think anyone would take that.
I think I will wait until after saturday to see the whole result..

If I think of this
1st round ..DE (personally I think that is what we are targeting) or WR
2nd round (basically) Buchanon
3rd round...Center...

I will be happy
 
yea true it looks good on paper but is he really as good as some say or just as bad as others say, thats were u have to balance is the risk really worth it and is this guy gonna be a leader or an anoyyance. to early to tell teams can change a man but i hope he plays well and not give up nearly as many touchdowns as raider fans say.
 
Jags are cocky
What I have read about the Titans.. they seem level headed.
Colts fans.. they think it is good for them.. yet to me they lose credibility when they think Buchanon is going to be on Harrison.. D-rob and Glenn have that responsiblity IMO
 
funnest quote was some Colt fan mad that we gave a 2nd and 3rd for Buchanon but they can't get a 2nd rounder for James...

i hate the jags and their stupid hillbilly fans...they don't even fill out their stadium once throughout an entire season and they have no clue as to what real football is...the titan fans have always been respectable to us cause they know our rivialry can be something great...the colts...well they're so cocky right now because their team has won constantly...bottom line the texan/colt games are gonna be a little more evenlly matched from this point on
 
thats a really good point i never thought bout that. what he thinks bout being 3rd corner most likely. with a guy htta refers to himself in 3 rd person and calls himself showtime think bout being 3rd string. hhhmmm this'll be interesting.
 
I think in general it was a good trade, but I just wonder if we couldn't have gotten him for just a second? (But I'm sure we tried that first and had to throw in the 3rd to sweeten the deal.)
 
yea so he may be good but is he really the type of personality we want to bring into our lockeroom....thats the pretty much the only think im not sold on, i think his playing ability will be really good here with our coaches but his attitude makes me wonder
 
Attitudes can be a good thing if focused correctly. As I heard on the am dial - a team full of chior boys will only take you so far.... or something like that.

When he comes out of that tunnel and hears 70,000 plus scream BUCHANNON!!!!... he'll be ready.

He was an outstanding corner in miamis system but man to man in the NFL is hard for every CB. Even Dunta got burned a few times. I don't see us putting him in as a return man unless he dosnt start at CB. Why the raiders did that was stupid i never put my startin CB at KR in the NFL. he goes down then im down 2 roster spots. Hes not sure about his tackling looks like hes a drag you down or shove out of bounds guy.

Other than that hes around the ball on D and maybe some of these minor flaws get corrected coming to a team that isnt sinking at the moment and is looking to go places.

As for attitude winning is infectious.. It can make even TO be silent for a whole year he didnt make any comments till this offseason. I think his attitude stems from the fact none of that unit last year played defense. Missed assignments galore. Id be a negative guy too if my whole defense was making stupid mistakes.


If we can get to the QB this year, he can be a big playmaker. And all we gave up is a 78 and 47 ? heck yea.
 
yah titans are takin it seriously but the colts and whippin boys cough *jags* cough arent....cant wait till we burn em both in the season...well i hope colts haha jags is almost a guarentee....man i hope that doesnt come bak to bit me in the ***
