Interesting story. I feel sorry for the NFL fans in Buffalo, but as the story said, it's not like they'd be the first to get their hearts ripped out. It's just a fact of life in professional sports.

I am here in Toronto - been here since fall of 05 when I moved here from Houston. Gotta say - there's a lot of concern and disappointment about how the city has handled this. There was an article in one of the major papers here - can't remember if it was the Star or the Sun - about what a failure this has been. Everything from prices to packaging to advertising.
The speculation of that writer is that the group in control of this endeavor has done nothing but hurt Toronto's chances of ever landing an NFL franchise.
My buddies and I all entered the lottery - one of us got picked to buy 4 tickets. But it was a package deal stretched out over years and forced us to buy the exhibition tickets as well. The prices were pretty unreasonable for what we were getting in return - so we passed. I'd rather watch the Bills in Orchard Park.
I am interested in seeing how many people show up to the Rogers Centre and what the atmosphere is like.
If it falls flat, then the NFL in Toronto may get further off than closer.
thankfully the NFL doesn't make such decisions off of the ticket sales to one game, so i doubt they're as concerned as you
