The national exposure spotlight will be on us tonight. I hope all fans will show up in Battle Red and show up EARLY! That is one indicator that they will use against or for us in future MNF planning. We can make the place rock and the Texans actually have a good chance of winning.

Wouldn't that be sweet?

They will bring up the last time we had MNF and spotlight the great crowds we had during the magical Miami game and during the "House of Pain" days. We can give them something to talk about in the future if we are LOUD, PROUD, EARLY and RED.

If we win tonight, we will be unbeaten on MNF and we will put the kitties in last place!!
 
I guess my "football" clock is off, I've been up since 5am with nothing on my mind but getting ready for this game. I must be NUTS!!:)

I'll be there at 2:30 ready to get the show on the road!! Lot's of fun tailgating to do before the clock strikes 7:30.

Tonight, I will do my part to show the sports world that HOUSTON TEXAN FANS are ready for the spotlight. I believe our team will do the same!!

Monday Night Football has been a long time coming. This will be exciting, although work will drag.

First pot of coffee gone.... But not excited yet. I'm trying to keep an even keel so that my next 3 or 4 hours in the office go relatively quick... Once I shut down for the day though - I'll be STOKED!!
 
On my second cup of coffee - all tailgating gear is stacked in the hall waiting to be packed in the truck - red jerseys ready and waiting - got someone to feed the dogs since we'll be late getting home and they won't be happy campers without food - I'm practically bouncing up and down:splits:

Yup, I'm ready to be early and loud. The fans need to give MNF a reason to come back next year! We can do this:kingkong:
 
I was camping/fishng on Matagorda Island on Friday and Saturday night (pulled in and released 20 - 40" bull reds), dealt with 30 mph winds the last night wreaking havoc on my tent and got back to Austin late last night. Woke up this morning, threw on my Texan gear, packed for an over night stay, drove to work beating everyone to the office and am ready to hit the road at 1pm.

Tired and excited for some Red Rum this evening.

Definitely hard to concentrate at work today. Maybe I should be doing some cybershopping to make the time pass. LOL. No, I will just bug you guys today!!:fans:

I get off at 12:30 and don't go in until 10:30 tomorrow. :toast2:
 
I'll be there loud and proud(and as early as possible). I'm a heavy metal concert veteran so I have the lungs to make some noise. I'M STOKED! :jam:

even if it's for pride, i expect a lot of hoarse people on these boards tomorrow. or at the very least, a bunch of people with lozenges and chloraseptic sprays.
 
I planned way ahead for this. I'm off until Wednesday night!! Just ticked off I can't find any red TEXAN tee's. Guess I'll just have to wear an old faded one. I might get thrown out of the BC if I show up in a red #8 David Carr jersey!! :)

We need to see the Texans start clawing their way back to .500 tonight. I'm not thrilled with 5-7 but it's a damn sight better than 4-8/last place and it's a step towards 9-7 (until proven impossible that's the target).
 
Wish our record was 7-4, but regardless, I will be there screaming tonight like it was! :texflag:

We've all been waiting a long time for our first MNF game. Let's act like it!! :redtowel:

LOL She Texan, the Texans Chick will banish you if you show up in a Carr jersey. However, an alterations lady can take the patch off of your Carr jersey. I just had mine taken off and you can't tell it was every there. I want on OD jersey, but can't find any. So until then......I have blue Schaub, white with Carr removed and red with Carr removed.
 
Probably going out to watch the game with some friends at a local watering hole. Sure I'll be the only Texan fan in Albuquerque!:fans:

Despite our record and disappointing season so far, I am pretty pumped about tonight's game. I am almost 34 years old and the last time that I personally attended a Monday Night Football game in person in Houston was when I was in HIGH SCHOOL. That should tell you how long it has been.

I hope we have a good showing tonight. Unfortunately, that Yankee, doucebag Tony Kornholer will say something derogatory about Houston, the state of Texas, and our team I am sure. I hate that guy.

The chilly weather has me pumped as well.

Nothing wrong with wearing the jersey of the franchises all-time leading rusher. Just look at it like you're wearing the Houston Texans version of an Earl Campbell jersey.

a) Yes I know Eddie George is actually the "Titans" leading all time rusher and that's fine with me. Earl Campbell is the "Oilers" leading all time rusher in my opinion.

b) That Domanick Davis is our version of Earl Campbell says so many things about this team.

c) I know he changed his name to Domanick Williams but "Domanick Williams" never suited up for the Texans so he's going to be Davis to me.
 
oh yeah, I'm excited. Just woke up... it's 9:20am Tuesday here, got the day off.

Gonna be loud enough so the whole apartment building knows I'm watching the Texans!
 
One of the few occasions when Monday was a good day. I am indeed excited for this game! Go Texans!
