Baylor's kicker is killing Texas fans everywhere...

I'm keeping a eye on the boxscore and Baylor is taking it to TT.......they should have a 3 point lead headed close to the half, but instead their idiot kicker is missing chip shot field goals.....a 29 yarder and a xp.

If that kicker ends up being the difference in this game I'm going to be sick.
 
Baylor just cashed in on a Graham Harrell fumble with a TD and 2pt conversion to take a 7 point lead..........a lead that should be a two score halftime lead.

If I was coaching Baylor it would be 2pt conversions from here on out......he has no kicker.
 
I think tech is feeling a letdown after the OU game. I am sure Leach stressed not to take Baylor lightly, but it looks like the players did.

I am expecting some major half time adjustments for Tech.
 
Baylor up by two TDs now........but I would feel a hell of a lot better if it was a three score game.

C'mon Baylor hold off TT and send Texas to the Big 12 Championship.
 
Like i said, Tech would make some major adjustments and they did. They finally stopped that run up the middle.
 
Well that second half collapse pretty much ends Texas' season. (how the hell did they not beat TT)

OU will beat Okie St and the coaches will put them past Texas in the BCS thus sending them to the Big 12 championship.

Texas came within a dropped gift wrapped INT from playing for the NC....how depressing.

Oh well they still had a good season and if McCoy returns (which he should) Texas will be even better next year.

Tech barely beating Baylor pretty much ruins their chance of anything. I hope they enjoy that "Oh by the way" Franco American Spagettios.com Bowl.

I disagree with a couple of things. First of all this was a great season for UT. I mean after losing several key players to the draft, this was supposed to be something of a rebuilding season. Instead, Texas exceded expectations.

Second, the season is not over as of yet. There is still a chance that OU squeaks by UT. If that occurs, some voters may look at the UT-OU game more carefully. Tech struggled mightily to beat by 24 and Oki beat by 32. Oklahoma's big win suddenly does not look as impressive.

Even if OU gets to the Big XII Champ game, they still have to deal with Mizzou. Mizzo got upended by KU today, so they will be pretty pissed. It is not inconceivable that OU loses and vaults UT into the Natl Championship.

Finally, if OU does win and get to the National Championship game, UT still has one more game: The Fiesta Bowl. That's a damn good game to get to play.

I sure hope Texas Tech gets a Big XII officiating crew for the Cotton Bowl.

Otherwise their offensive line is going to be exposed. They hold on every single passing play. The Big XII has apparently decided not to call holding this year because they like seeing the big points in all the games. I'm not really bothered by that because they seem to call it the same for everybody, it's not like Tech is the only team benefitting, but they sure are taking advantage of it.

If they hold like that in a bowl game, they will get called for it every time.

Not a chance. Loser of the OU-UT BCS debacle will go to the Fiesta.

Tech lost to OU by 44 & then crawled past Baylor in their last two games. You have to finish strong to go to the BCS (see Kansas/Mizzou last year).

Nope. With OU's big win, they likley go to the Big XII Championship game and will beat Mizzou. Oklahoma gets to the National Championship Game. With Oklahoma in the NC, the Fiesta Bowl gets the first pick. They will take #3 in the BCS Texas for sure. After Tech's game against Baylor they will lose style points(as they won by 7 and were favored by 40). I see Tech in the Cotton Bowl.

Nope. According to the BCS, the National Championship game is played between the teams that are ranked #1 and #2 in the final BCS poll before the Bowl selections. There is no prerequisite for winning your own title game since not all conferences have title games.

Thats the BCS' rationale, not mine...
