It's a tough choice between Barber and Shelton, and I think both will end up being stars in the NFL...Out of the two, though, I'd pick Shelton since Barber is so similar to DD...Shelton brings more of a power game for in case Capers wants to go into "grind it out" mode...Shelton also ran a faster 40 at the combine despite being almost 5 inches taller and 30 pounds heavier than DD...

I selected Eric Shelton with the 63rd overall Pick. So far my draft went like this

Overall
#2- Derrick Johnson, LB, Texas
#47- Mike Patterson, DT, USC
#63- Eric Shelton, RB, Lousiville

Now who should I pick in round 3?

I am thinking OL

Eric Shelton is my favorite back in this draft and I really think he is the best rb for the Texans. I don't think he will last until our 3rd round pick. I think we would have to use our 2nd round pick on him or trade up with our 3rds to get him. Any of those scenarios is better than using a 1st rounder on a rb.

Next, I'd probably take either O-Line, CB, or WR depending on who's left around and how many picks you have left

Which centers are still on the board? Should be able to get a really good center in the 3rd.

I'd take Shelton in a heart beat! GOing to the UH games and seeing Shelton (among other LU players), I'd say that Shelton is the most likely candidate among Louisville players to be a star in the NFL (among this year's group).

JR Russell should be the sleeper from the Cards, looks a lot like Boldin, and has the same knocks on him that Boldin had, "too slow" "can't stretch the field". He has great hands and size and is fast enough (4.5). The new "contact" rule put in place last year shows how a WR with good hands and size can be better than a flat speedster......look at how well last year's WR crop did compared to Rookie WRs in the past!

Of the guys you listed, I'd take them in this order:

Fason - Most upside of any of these.
Arrington - Is built like the top RBs in the league now.
Barber III - Just knows how to run.
Shelton - See Ron Dayne and TJ Duckett
Morency - Last available option...wouldn't take him in the 3rd.
