Problems in the Vikings game.

Mari-OWNED!

Bucco Bruce
Bennett drops easy pick. (Probably would've been pick 6)
Sage throws dumb INT into double coverage on 3rd and 1 in the redzone. (Run the ball we have two plays for 1 freaking yard!)
Matt Schaub is a softie.

Am I missing anything?

False start penalties.

Our "franchise" left tackle can't play a whole game and when he does he gets destroyed.

Reeves still sucks.

At least you're sticking with this user name instead of your "RosenfelsismyQB" name.

I am not one to ***** about refs but I want to know who get the most penalties called against an a opponent or I should say least.

Schaub got hurt on after being hit in the knee 2 times! in the knees on missed roughing the passer (low blow) calls.

First hit to the knee was okay....2nd one could have been a penalty. He dove right at the legs.

I'm not going to argue that the hits on Schaub weren't questionable, nor would I argue that Tennessee's DL is as pure as the driven snow, however...

The problem with the Texans today was the OL. I couldn't pinpoint which interior linemen were getting owned every play, but the DL's simply humiliated our guys today. If I were Myers, Briesel, or Pitts I would be embarrassed to show my face around town this week. In addition Brown had his worst game of the season against Allen. We can complain about Allen or Haynesworth's late hits all we want, but we need to get to the point where they aren't there to make the late hit anyway. Especially when our entire offensive line philosophy is built around questionably legal blocks, we can't necessarily resort to complaining that the other guy's linemen are cheaters.

We have an explosive offense when we aren't going against elite DL's (and I would qualify both TEN and MIN as having elite defensive lines -- arguably the best in football). Until our OL can take them on as well, we will be exposed against teams that build around the line.

Schaub got hit in the knees twice, and tried to gut it out and was pulled by the coach, that doesn't make him soft.

Kubiak should have pulled Matt out right after he was hobbling around. 1. he was a liability, proven by that pick which was Leach touchdown waiting. 2. He could have been hurt even further and miss more time. Matt is the starter in my eyes for sure, but once he was hurt there is no need to risk further injury, the drop off to Sage is not that bad in that situation.

Next. 3rd and 1 in the redzone, run the ball, if you don't get it, kick the FG it would have been a 4 point game at the time. Another coaching mistake IMO, along with not challenging the "1st down" didn't exist.

We're still soft up the middle on both the offensive and defensive lines. O'line play was very poor across the board.

O-Line is far from great, they always get handled against good D-Lines.

Both of our QB's aren't very good.

The secondary.

Two redzone TO's.

Questionable personell moves.

2nd half Run D. (They were just tired)

A couple of costly penalties.

A retarded ref call on that 3rd and short.

Fix it coaches. I don't care how, or why, or what you do. It's effing ridiculous losing to teams we generally outplay. Especially redzone turnovers. WTF?!?!?

The turnovers all come from one position. Kubiak has been all over those two players, and it's apparent at this point that they are just not capable of protecting the ball under pressure. The only fix is to fire the players in question, and that's obviously not happening.

Cornerbacks, especially Reeves. They just flat aren't good enough to hold up against fast WRs.

It is worth noting that Sage was the one that made the 3rd and 1 play call. The communication went out and he had to call a play. That's why the play was such a failure.

i not knocking bennett he played pretty solid today and i would rather have him in the Faggins

Sage took a gamble i kinda like it if AJ had caught the ball yall would be praising sage & AJ the way salton was playing anywayz who to say we would even got the 1 yard did u see how many purps win in the box on that play up the middle the way they where playing i dont we would of got it

deff tho a QB sneak dive up the middle would of been fine there Sage was fresh and we should of let him get dirty on that play

Shoulda coulda woulda tho

and yeah your right Matt is a softie

Here's the explanation from Da General's game summary in the Chronic.

As the play clock ticked down, Rosenfels changed the play because his communication device with Kubiak had been shut down at the required 15 seconds. In that situation, he had the freedom to make the call, and rather than play it safe, he went for the touchdown. Safety Madieu Williams intercepted the pass intended for Kevin Walter at the 2.
So Kubiak & baby Shanahan couldn't get the call into Rosenfels in time? And they let the Rosencopter make the call on a key 3rd & 1? Another case of Kubiak's indecisions that costs wins.

Absolutely classic. Did anyone else catch coach Gibbs drop an F-bomb right at Rosenfels after that beauty? Almost made me feel better, almost.

Before Schaub even got up, I told Joe Texan he was injured...........and Kubiak would not take him out until he screwed up.

As far as the 3rd and 1..............this is just one of many examples of poor play calling that places our QBs is precarious situations that in themselves dictate high risk.............remember, our QBs DON'T call their own plays, nor do they have the liberty to unilaterally change a play in major ways at the LOS.

Its ture are QB have no freedom in play calling

and they dont warrent that freedom due to there playing ability

got to win a Few PLayoff games and championships to get that freedom

As I understand what went on, a play was sent in but at the 15 second mark the communications system shuts off and Sage couldn't hear it so he called the pass that went for the INT. Too slow getting the play in allowed Sage to call the bad play. Sounds like two screw ups on one play to me.

It seems to me that pure and simple that whoever is QB for this team, that turnovers have lost us every game this season. It's really that simple. The rest of our offense doesn't make turnovers. It's really only the QB that's making mistakes and they're costly ones. Schaub's pass to a wide open Vonta was a mistake that could've been avoided and he still doesn't cover and protect the ball when getting a sack. He knew the sack was coming and he still didn't protect. Sage may have made the play call as someone suggested, but at the end of the day he still threw it into double coverage.

Yeah there were a lot of things that we did wrong this game, but the bottom line was we lost because we can't protect the ball.
