Andre Johnson AFC Offensive Player of the Month, Jacoby Jones ST Player of Week.

The NFL announced on Wednesday that wide receiver Andre Johnson was named AFC Offensive Player of the Month for October. This is the first time Johnson has won player of the month honors in his career and it his fourth league award. He was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week in Week 4 of 2006 and earned NFL Rookie of the Week honors in Week 4 and Week 10 in 2003.

The NFL announced Wednesday that Texans wide receiver Jacoby Jones was named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week for Week 8, capturing the award for the second time in three weeks. With Jones’ win, Houston has had 13 players win AFC Player of the Week honors in team history - one on offense, three on defense and nine on special teams.

Jones’ 73-yard return was the second-longest of his career. He ranks second in the NFL with a 14.7-yard punt return average through seven games this season. His two punt returns for touchdown this season are a franchise single-season record and are the second-most in the league this year.

I hope that all the Texans players are grasping the concept that with "W's" comes recognition. It's well deserved and hopefully the first of many.
 
Dre is da man! Attaboy Dre. I want to see JJ involved in more of the offense. He is too dangerous to be hiding him on the bench. Good for you too JJ! :fans:
