NICE!!!! Two national games...YEAH!!! :thumbup

EDIT - Oct. 23rd/Dec. 24 = Battle Red Days

I wanted the colts and texans to get a primetime game.

We usually put on some nice shows (there's the occasional blowout, but more often than not, the games are good)

Two primetime games is awesome. We have played some really good games with KC so I can see why that is one, I figured one would be with Jacksonville though. Oh well still cool to have two of them. :thumbup

Can't wait for that Seattle game!!! With Jaime Sharper signing with the Seahawks it should be an exciting game. Maybe I'll even go up there to watch the game. I've always wanted to visit Seattle and now I have another reason! Other than that I won't say if the schedule is easy or not because most of the time we're wrong. I just don't like the bye week on week 3. It's too early for me.

First two games are going to be tough, but the toughest stretch is @ Seattle, Indy, Cle, @ Jax, @ Indy, KC, St. Louis, @ Baltimore. That is the make or break half of the schedule; honestly if they go .500 they should be okay. Yes I know its half the season, but I can't recall a tougher 8 consecutive games the team has ever had; with the exception of Cle (but they may by starting to improve by then.)

Im going to the San Fran game since I live in Los Angeles; maybe even to the Seattle game. I been there once; and I loved the city!

to bad the ravens game isn't later, i might have been able to go to it. i like what is, two espn games shows we are on the way up.

I have seen another site with a small difference. The Pittsburgh at Reliant game is scheduled for noon, not 3:00. I think that one is more reliable, IMHO.

2 ESPN games? Guess they are making up for the lack of attention since our last one in 2002.

i love it, i will probably go to the game in san fran, since im like 30 min away, plus the two national games, and the games against the NFC West are televised here i think, man ill get to watch 6 games for the texans, i love it

so we did Future, my mistake. :thumbup Just wanted to get in a small jab to our Cowboy lurker's around the board though. They know which game I am talking about. :heh:

Jp's first full NFL game. Hopefully he stinks up the joint. Can't wait till Sept. 8, 10, 11, and 12.

Texas vs. Ohio State on Sept 10.

Whoo Hoo!!!

Last year we got all big-headed about possibly facing the rook in SD and they hammered us instead.

yeah but they didnt start the rookie, and it would be one thing if we went in and lost, and the chargers had a horrible season, but the chargers had a very good season, so the loss is easier to deal with, i still hate it, but its understandable

Damn. I'm going to have to miss the Kansas City game. :( Paul McCartney will be in Houston that same night, don't think badly of me Texan fans, but Paul McCartney comes first.

(HOW THE #!@$ DID THE SAINTS GET A MONDAY NIGHT GAME!?!??!!)

Ok...on the NFL Network...I see a few week 15 games that start at 12:30 ET...hmmmm.

11:30 Sunday GAMES ARE BACK?!?!?

(including our game vs. JAX)

We have about 15-20 people going to the Seahawks game if you are interested PM FILO_Girl or email me for information.

The coldest game of the year. @Baltimore It is just my geuss. :)
Looks like I'll be going to this game without the family. I knew it was going to be scheduled during winter. Hopefully it's not snowing. See you guys there.

Call me crazy, but I always like seeing the saints on the big stage.

That Joe Horn always comes up with something

Aren't you the same guy that berates T.O.? How is Joe Horn entertaining and T.O. annoying?

has the easiest sched. They should win at least their first 7 or 8 games. Sucks that we have to face KC again this year. I really fear that aging offense. also hope that they don't get Surtain in teh next ten days

It's been like this since I can remember (from the Oiler days). The Cowboys always have the 3pm slot and we always have the noon game.

Sep 11. @ Buffalo (Noon) - Tough team last year, but remember, this game will be the regular season debut of ... JP Losman.

Sep 18 vs. Pitt (Noon) - I think we match up against the Steelers better than most, especially without Plax. As long as our new ILBs can hole up against the run ... We might be able to catch them with their trousers down here in our home opener.
Sep 25 BYE
Oct 2 @ Cin (Noon) - Should be a good game, especially since we've got the extra week to prepare
Oct 9 vs. Tenn (Noon) - Time to check out the new-look Titans at Reliant
Oct 16 @ Sea (8:30) - Another interesting game. If they don't have Shaun Alexsander, will they be able to go pass-happy on Dunta-Glenn-Coleman?
Oct 23 vs. Indy (Noon) - Our first win against the Colts!
Oct 30 vs. Clev (Noon) - Taking nothing for granted after that horrible Week 17, but they'll probably be even worse this year
Nov 6 @ Jax (Noon)
Nov 13 @ Indy (Noon) - Eek.
Nov 20 vs. KC (8:30)
Nov 27 vs. StL (Noon) - Should be fun.
Dec 4 @ Balt (Noon) - We played our best against strong defenses last year (Chicago, J-Ville)
Dec 11 @ Tenn (Noon)
Dec 18 vs. Ariz (Noon)
Sat. Dec 24 vs. Jax (Noon) - Could well be the biggest game of the season - and it's at our house
Jan 1 @ SF (3pm) - Hopefully, we learned from Week 17 last year!

I actually like our chances of making the playoffs this year or at least going .500, with our shcedule and key players with a year more experience. I think we should:
Buffalo-win
Pittsburg-lose
bye
cinn-win
Tenn-win
Sea-win
Indy-lose
Clev-win REVENGE
Jax-lose
Indy-lose
K.C.-win
Stl-lose
Balt-lose
Tenn-win
Ariz-win
Jax-win put Jax out of playoffs
SF-win Hello playoffs
maybe wishfull thinking but not out of our reach.

hmmmm wonder why that pittsburgh game changed? if you go to the main site here, it talks about SIX noon starts (there are two later starts), but I only find one...maybe it was a late change
"So to recap quickly – an early bye week, four playoff teams (Colts, Steelers, Rams and Seahawks), two prime-time games, six home starts at noon (sorry, tailgate aficionados), three sets of back-to-back home games and two sets of back-to-back road games."

I'm probably alone on this, but I really don't like the ESPN games...Let's not forget about the game last year when their announcers got all of our guys' names wrong and said, "Wow, that was such a beautiful pass" after Favre threw an INT...

Week 3 bye Boo ! That is my birthday weekend, I always look forward to a homegame for my birthday !

I don't get it! We never get any love! We've beaten some good teams. And even if we don't beat'em, we at least make it come down to the wire. The Green Bay game last year was a prime example of that. Even though we lost, afterwards I was certain they were gonna give us at least ONE Monday night game this year. But two ESPN primetimes aren't bad, I guess. You gotta crawl before you walk...

Buffalo still has Holcombe as Losman's backup so if he starts stinking it up he could always be benched. Plus they've got a tough defense, and McGahee running the ball. Definately not going to take a team with a rookie QB forgranted this year.

The Bills were on a roll at the end of last season, and they obviously feel the offense will be better with Losman than they were with Bledsoe. It's moreso a case of how soon it will be better. It's gonna be a tough game, hopefully our boys can come out swinging and show that they've corrected some of our failings.

You never know which team is going to make a 180 turnaround and start destroying teams.

Last year the Jags, and Steelers both did that. So you cant say we should win these games and lose these games until a few weeks into the season.
