Look around the league. Just about everyone's a contender. The Houston Texans -- on paper, a dismal 1-4 -- have lost two games to division opponents by a combined seven points, with both contests ending on scores in the final seconds. Houston won a big one vs. Miami last weekend and now faces Detroit and Cincinnati in back-to-back weeks. The Texans can be right back in the thick of things by November.

'Nuff said.

Right on, TexMexVato! We still have lots of football season to go. I'm not giving up hope! :texflag:

Last year it was the Atlanta game that pretty much screwed up the year for us. This year it could be the Colts game. But I'm keeping hope alive. I think we have it in us to win some games this year and make some noise in the division.

I still kind of feel like we should have just ran a little and ate up some clock time.

Lets see if we can get two in a row before we book the SB room reservations there big guy. They should be able to run the ball this week. Which means the WR's should have some opportunities at some double move routes. We'll see. I'd like to take the load off of the rainmaker this week and give Daneils, Walter, Jacoby Jones and Davis some class A targets.

We can't keep spotting the other team four turnovers and expect to pull out last second victories. We were lucky last week the refs didn't rule MS arm wasn't going forward. If they ruled that the game ends there. Two in a row. That's the goal.

If we take care of business against Detroit and Cincy - then go in to Minnesota and beat them? Then I absolutely think this team could gain steam and make a run.

The problem is - winning at home against Miami, Detroit, and Cincinnati doesn't mean DOODLEY SQUAT as my mom says. This team proved last year that they are a good home team. What they need, is a quality road win... and a win in Minnesota would be that - but ONLY if they take the next two as they should.

it was the correct call. i dont think you call that luck.

Look, I'm a Texans fan since day 1 and will continue to be and I want them to be great, too. But the definition of disillusionment = thinking we will be in any kind of contention for anything by beating the Lions and Gals.
