Alright folks, I must admit that this win was pulled out by the hairs of the Texans' chiny-chin-chins.

However, I feel that I am the one to blame for the poor performances on the field. You see, I had been keeping, in my closet, three David Carr jerseys. Yes, one for each color. I don't know why I hadn't gotten rid of them sooner. Maybe my deluded mind was thinking they would be worth something some day. Well, as soon as Ronnie Brown scored that last touchdown with 1:45 left in the game, I immediately went to my closet and threw those freaking jerseys in the trash. I then refused to watch the rest of the game to serve as penance for keeping such horrible juju in my closet.

Perhaps now, Houston and the Texans can get things back on track. Go Texans! :fans:

If you have a portfolio of David Carr beefcake pictures, you probably have to get rid of those too, or your solution can probably be expected to fade in effectiveness in the weeks to come.

So it's YOUR fault. Ah, I thought I brought some mojo wearing my black Texan hat and no jersey for the first time this season. Cool. Get rid of any Boselli jerseys, Capers signed pictures, and Richard Smith coloring books as well.

Sound like a good juju thread. Anyone else do something just a little different for this game to change the mojo?
 
That is just awesome. I guess us crazy fans collectively knew what it took to get our team the win!
 
well, i swapped to the couch today instead of having been in my chair so far this season ... i sat on the couch for most of last season and it worked out pretty well.

we've collectively gotta get this team winning. :chickendance:
 
I lost one of my Texans earrings at the last preseason game this year. I went to the Texans Store at Reliant and bought a new pair before the game. I was sure that was the difference.
 
Well i dont think are FOotball team curse is over we a still 1-4 abit

but i will say this is a positive win and something hopefully we can build on next week
