Dre played as well as I've seen in a long time. He aggressively took the game from the Dolphins. It was good to see.
 
And Andre Johnson is a baller.

That 4th and 10 catch had me going nuts. One of the best catches I have seen from anybody in a Texans uniform. Might be the best.

I have no idea how he made that catch. Simply remarkable.

Good thing that fumble of his inside the 10 didn't come back to haunt us.
 
I bet this is what the Colts board was like after the win last week, especially discussing Reggie Wayne and his circus TD catch
 
Dre played one of the best of his career. From the stands I thought the game was over on that 4th and 10. When he came up after that I just couldn't believe it.

I gotta say that I'm glad that Schaub decided to go to his playmaker with the game on the line, especially after the fumble. No good having AJ hanging his head low going into next week's game.

Andre is one player I never get down on. He is capable of playing at such a high level I think he gets ground down by the various goings on around him.

If we fans can't understand things around the Texans - Carr, Joe Pendry, Schaub's Carr imitation for a couple of games this year, broken down running backs, poor clock management, the repeated "we have to figure this thing out", etc. - imagine what he thinks.

Knowing how badly the Texans needed a win after the previous week’s fourth quarter collapse, coach Gary Kubiak had no doubt which player to go to in the clutch.

“Andre made the play that really gave us a chance to win the game,” Kubiak said. “Just making that play was the difference in winning and losing.”

As memorable as it was though, it’s still a little fuzzy to Johnson.

“The play before, when they thought (Andre Goodman) intercepted the ball, he was kind of playing in between,” Johnson said. “I went to the sideline and said, ‘Let me just run by the guy.’ But coach Kubiak said, ‘Let’s run the throwback.’

“Tired and all, I just said, ‘If you want to run it, I’ll catch it.'

“I was just like, 'Man, give me a chance.' I just wanted to make a play to redeem myself from the fumble earlier.”

Johnson, who went over 400 career receptions Sunday, had fumbled the ball after a 17-yard reception to the Dolphins' seven-yard line with 55 seconds to play in the third quarter. Most fans had long forgotten that play by then. And the monumental fourth down play assured they would not think of it ever again.

And what happened when the ball came to him for the pivotal fourth quarter catch?

“I don’t know how I made the play,” Johnson said. “I just made it.

“I just stuck my hands up. When I stuck my hands up, he put his hands up. The ball just kind of bobbled around. I don’t think he saw it and I just grabbed it.”

The 178 yards were the most by anyone in the NFL this season. And those 23 yards on that one catch were the most important by the Texans in memory. If he doesn’t catch it, the ball goes over on downs.

Agree completely. I don't get down on the consistent players who have a bad game, or have a bad play. AJ is very consistent, and a few bad plays here and there doesn't have me down on him, just down.

Agreed, can't fault Schaub for throwing that. Didn't look like anybody was open, and you HAVE to force the pass, so why not force it to one of the best WRs in the league. And he came up big. Gotta compliment Schaub for putting it in a place where he could make a play on it.
