I know there are plenty of draftniks around here, and I figured you'd be interested in sending a few questions to Mel Kiper Jr. It'd be interesting to see what he thinks the Texans will do at #13. ESPN Chat It starts at 2 E.T. or 1 C.T. today, but I'm pretty sure you can submit your questions in advance.

Same thing happened to me Grid. I watched the show for about 45 minutes and then finally posted a question. When I did it went to the old insider mode.

Up to that point Mel didn't answer answer any questions about the Texans.

Not directly, but the Texans did come up in a couple of answers. A Panther fan wanted to know if Barron would last to #14. Kiper though that the Texans were the lowest Barron would drop & that Carolina would go with Williamson. Kiper mentioned a couple of fast risers that weren't at the combine, Matt McCoy OLB San Diego State & Roydell Williams WR Tulane. Kiper is projecting Roydell to the Texans at #47. I'm not kidding.

Roydell's pro day from NFL.com:
Williams (6-0¾, 188) ran a 40 against the wind in 4.51 and one with the wind in 4.48. He also ran the short shuttle in 4.29 seconds, the three-cone drill in 7.09 and the long shuttle in 11.88. He had a 38-inch vertical jump, a 9-foot-11 broad jump and 17 bench presses.

On April 1, Williams played a bad "April Fool's Day" joke on about nine scouts. Williams was scheduled to run but took the advice of his agent and did not run because a sports magazine claimed he ran in the 4.4s. That didn't sit well with the scouts, each of whom probably spent good money to travel to New Orleans to see him.

I'd check who Roydell has as an agent. Might be one of Kiper's buddies whose client Mel is pushing.
