Kubiak is calling Pittman out and putting the loss on him.

He (LS Bryan Pittman) has struggled, not just last week, but he has had some rough snaps throughout the course of the last month. So we get him some extra work this week; even more than we give him normally. We’re working the (TE Clark) Harris kid also, who can snap, who’s on our practice squad. So it can’t happen. It’s got to be right.”

(on if the snapping issue is strange considering the previous consistency of LS Bryan Pittman) “Yeah, he has been consistent my few years here. But, like I said, he had some issues in training camp and it raised itself again last week. In this league, you count on those things being automatic and when they’re not, it can really, really affect the football game. That extra point affected the game the rest of the way. So it’s something that has got to be automatic.”

I'm surprised he made it out alive with all of the "Bench player X" threads going on. That XP was laughable.
 
If your ONLY job is long snapping, and you screw up, you should immediately be cut. We have other guys who can actually play a position (Zgoninia) on the roster that can long snap crappily. We don't need a specialist who messes up regularly

His family and all those guys he went to Highschool with who use him as a pick up line. " Hey.... my best friend is Brian Pittman of the Texans...." I bet they use it.

I wonder if he put himself as starting center on Madden? Shoot if I was the last player to make the squad, I would. Somewhere Jared Zabranski is starting qb for the Texans.
 
I guess that's why Kubiak didn't go for two field goals, choosing to go for it on the two 4th downs that would have put us 7 points from a win? Or, Kubiak was stubborn enough that he lost his ability to do simple math:

1. You need 13 points to win, Gary.

2. Gary, you can kick a field goal here. Doh!

3. Gary, you could have kicked the SECOND field goal here. Doh!

4. Gary, you're down two TDs now. Doh!

I'm telling ya: Kubiak is an odd duckie.

There was no rational logic to how he handled that game. Yeah, if we don't get our LS back to form, and in a hurry, we're in for rough times...

hindsight is great isnt it? :rolleyes:

we were 12 points behind in the 3rd q and the offence was struggling

12-3= 9= 2 score game stil

if pittman doesnt screw up the xp its a 1 score (8 pts) game if we score the fg.. which i think he wouldve done.. and thats not mentioning its isnt even automatic with pittman struggling
