i like your first round... The 2nd i dont see us passing on a CB there was 2 perfectly good CB's there in Eric Green or Corey Webster. Both could be excellent understudys and could start next year. The trade is a good one. It might be a little much for moving up a couple of picks. I think 3rd and maybe 1 other. we will have 3rd round picks.... we can get an OL, DE, and possibliy a RB,TE or a S. I think thats a win for us.

We could fill many needs in a WR to start for us, a CB to start next year, DE depth, OL for depth, possibly a future starter at RB, TE or a good backup in at TE.

Thanks. I liked the first myself. I thought about Webster, but thought a more pressing need would be to put some pessure on the QB and thought that CJ mosley could start right away and be that pass rusher. With Babin on one side and Mosley on the other, I thought our Secondary would be helped as opposing teams would have to deal with a formidible pass rush now.

Actually the trade is pretty reasonable. If you look at the trade value sheet, there is a difference of 30 between the 3 spots. The two picks that I picked up the in the 6th and 7th rounds are woth about 34-35 points. Usually the team wanting to move up pays the difference.

In round Three I would look for OL depth, a corner(corner is deep in this draft) or another rb.

Walker or Payne. Smith is a good player. I cant rememebr which off the top of my head, but one of them tends to get injured a lot. I am thinking that is Walker, so I would lean to sit him.

Walker makes way to much to sit. Smith makes way to much to sit and to me Paynes new 4 year 4 mill a year contract is too much to sit too payne is injured 1

It's not like the starters play the full game on the D-Line...Someone needs to be mixed into the rotation to keep Walker, Payne, and Smith fresh late into the game...

i still think we draft the CB to be the replacement for Glenn in 2nd round. I think thats one thing that people were talking about when they said pulling a Buffalo. You dont have to draft a player in the 1st round to get starting quality. Corey Webster and Eric Green are there in the 2nd i believe they can start next season when Glenn is gone. I think we should go DL in the 3rd round.

We need young talent on the Dline. no one has to be sat if we draft someone. Every one of our Dlinemen takes breathers every game.. and we can put in the rook to get some playing time during those breathers. In a season or two when one of our old beat up linemen leaves.. we will have a young player to take the starter spot.. and he will have some experience under his belt.

we cant keep drafting starters every year.. we need youth on the Dline and we need it now.

I dont know much about C.J. Mosely though.. so i cannot say if he is a good pick or not.

However.. on the first round pick. I dont see us skipping Cedric Benson to take Troy Williamson. I would eat my hat if Benson fell to 13 and we didnt grab him (assuming DJ isnt available)

this is a fairly new development (Benson) so you get a pass on this one. I like the MOCK DRAFT's that involve trades, I think there will be a bunch of 'em & you got him here. as far as eating your hat (Grid) I'll pass on that one and consume a keg instead.....either way  (Benson) :hairpull: (Williamson)

Any Bucs Fan would love your mock for them. They are really high on getting Williams, or Williams, and then Baas.

id rather see us getting ernest shazor, or corey webster in 2nd. or instead of trading down, trade up a few and get chris spencer in the 2nd

I have one question... Why are many mocks having the Lions drafting a CB when they have Dre Bly and Fernando Bryant?

most of the mocks i see have the lions taking Merriman, Spears, James, Pollack, or Barron. I dont think Barron will be the pick though.
