Offseason Overview: Texans Getting Closer to Being an AFC Force

BOO!!!!!!!!!
I would agree with the 1-2 years statement. It didn't say that we were 1-2 years away from being good, just 1-2 away from completing with the Jags and Colts.

We have a lot of questions going into the season, mainly how Schaub with hold up. Our RB's, AJ still needs help with a solid #2 receiver, Mario needs another pass rush DE, Okam needs a year to grow in the NFL, Safety is a question, and our LB'ing core is filled with average Special teams players. Not to mention the question of is Bennett the real deal or did he have a good rookie year, and how will DRob be when he comes back?

There is so many directions that this season can take.

RB Ron Dayne will likely return as a situational back who is capable of making a handful of solid starts in a season.

That all I needed to read.
I wouldn't be too critical of that, considering that the Official Houston Texans webpage still has Ron Dayne listed as 1st team on the Interactive Depth Chart, and last week still had him on the Roster.

If thats where they get their info from, do you really care what they have to say? These are payed professionals, dont you think they should do a little research before giving a prognosis?

Good Gawd! I didn't realize we paid Reeves that much money!

Good article. When you look at the way they went about free agency, we didn't go after any superstars, but we did make several positions better.
Notably: C, CB, and RB.

I don't know anything about the LB's or the S.

Wolf, I can only guess that you are trying to be funny. (And I'm laughing, to be sure.) Now your sig quote is from Martin Luther......not Martin Luther King. Pretty funny stuff, assuming it's intentional (or even if it's not)...:laughjump:

That's exactly right. In fact I quoted Wikipedia earlier today on the Frank Okam thread. Wikipedia says Frank Okam sacked Matt Leinert twice in the '06 Rose Bowl. WRONG! One time....
